Large projects take large amounts of time, that paired with him trying to update us on progress.

Give him time, (all) release dates, whatever you see it about — They aren't always a guarentee and a promise, moreso estimation.
Coding is a pain with an infinite array of bugs, you fix one, another takes its place.
Trust me, coding an entire engine with little to no bugs is more painful than coding an attack engine and leaving it there, especially since this isn't just one monster he's doin'.
And even then he has to make a trailer and record it, and if he wants to, then also edit the trailer, and then again, even if it's summer, life exists.

EDIT: Also, scratch will be going into maintence mode tommorow until the 13th, makes sense if he's already using the offline editor or just livin' his life as always, everyone's gotta live their lives.

If it doesn’t release by January 31 2024 I will lose hope
