My point still stands regardless. Just because it's made for children doesn't automatically mean children should be allowed to use the internet. Scratch is a clear example of the complete immaturity and incompetence of most users which further points toward the fact of their nuisance and stubborn behavior — which ultimately leads to things like forums shutting down. I only see downsides and almost no upsides (if there are any aside from a business perspective).

All I see is a bunch of children trying to one-up another when they are all essentially on the same level. The point of these forums is for updates and potential contributions from the community. So far, the only “contributions” are complete irrelevancies and stubbornness. No matter how many times people are asked to stop or not to do something, it fails to reach their incredibly high IQs of theirs.

It's quite pathetic how the creator is trying to complete the monumental task of recreating a battle engine while most of the users are almost deliberately trying to shut down the forums — affecting the project. The lack of respect and awareness is both disappointing and disrespectful. On top of that, some of the users have the audacity to defend their behaviors.

If you are unable to act respectfully and maturely, you shouldn't be on the internet (just because others don't do the same doesn't mean you can). I don't blame children for acting like children, but having their behavior affect everyone on the internet else negatively/poorly (which it always does) is simply a burden. Thus returning to my point "why children shouldn't be allowed to use the internet": as children's behavior checks every single point I have mentioned above.

I heard that the Update is releasing soon because GD got taken of the app store & google play store, so the only way to bring it back would be to update it, which is what they're gonna do

I've been silent for awhile because I prefer playing scratch on pc but my pc keeps crashing lol, and I hate playing on mobile but ig autocorrect and suggestions are kinda nice lol
