I do not believe the BIA franchise itself is banned by scratch, if it was, the search term would be unable to come up with results (that is not the case, if you search “Brother in arms”, while you do not find any BIA projects directly, there are still results.
I would like to point out that that particular person isn’t prominent in all of the banned projects, and as a side point I would like to adress that this franchise has existed for over a year without much controversy or banning. And almost no one has complained or said it is not user friendly, although I could be wrong I haven’t read through all the comments.
But yes you are right it is the mustache man that caused it most likely, but some people trying to defend scratch has accused it of being very violent with gore, which there is no gore, and I have projects with far more violent elements.
although it does appear to be aimed at 11+, you are right that people need to examine the games before taking them down, this is present with other things that ST has done, like banning people for being ‘collab accounts’ when they have no proof and the user is not a collab account.

I do agree that it shouldn't really be banned, other 12+ rated games like Fortnite and i think even 18+ games like GTA are not fully banned (if a GTA remake has gore it will be taken down if ST becomes aware.

I'm pretty sure they mean a different person shares a project that hasn't been shared yet, or briefly shared then removed
In any projects that ask you to love and favorite the project for a skin, technically, they don't actually know when you click them. What you can do is simply hover your mouse over the love and favorite buttons and it will give you whatever reward. This may be the reason they have not been taken down for it.
should we have a mlt voting studio, or should we just do it in our cabin?

i know people are gonna rip me to shreds for this but i use visual studio for mainly javascript
and while vs isn't meant for js, it serves its purpose better than anything else i've used
for example, i can easily make a git commit (and git is shipped with vs, which makes my life so much easier) without having to switch from Explorer to Source Control
i can also (very easily) run debugging for every project in my solution and also run the browser all at once, and while this is possible in vsc, i would much rather trade not having thousands of tabs for something that i know reliably works in a way that's intuitive
also i much prefer having all the buttons that i need available to me but also high customisation. it's also pretty useful to be able to drag a working file out into its own window (even off to a separate monitor)
so as far as i'm concerned, vs is  alright

If a scratcher had a project that they wanted to get to the most amount of people possible, but not for their own popularity, could a more popular scratcher share it for them to get it to more people, and has this been done before?

In this situation, there would obviously be full credit given to the original creator, but they would not be the one receiving the likes and favorites on the project. I briefly looked through the forums and couldn't find anything about this.

the ultimate hoodie's depiction of scene one:
Scene 1: Scratch cat lives in a small forest and he wants to move somewhere else because he is bored in the forest. Then he makes a rocket and he flies to the unknown. Then he is at the South Pole.

I kind of like it. but too much Is happening. here's my idea:

Scene one: Pitch black. nothing for the first few seconds. then the title of the scratch cat movie shows. then, the black screen and the title fade, as we set on a magnificent town. but this view wont last long. as for suddenly the camera flies toward the streets. as we witness TERA, the main villain of the story, riding what appears to be riding a 200 mph convertible that is purple. as tera begins throwing
change [ghost] effect by (1000000000000000000000)
at SCRATCH, the main hero of the story, who is running faster than usan bolt. this is no surprise, as cats are very fast.

TERA: GET BACK HERE OLD SCRATCHY!

suddenly, time freezes. and we hear the voice of scratch cat

SCRATCH: I bet you weren't expecting this were you?

SCRATCH: let me introduce myself. hi. my name is Scratch cat. I'm the orange one running away.
Thats tera. and she is the one chasing me on a convertible throwing blocks that could k1ll me. but to understand how we got here, we need to go back in time. to understand what happened.

Black shows again. then one second later a white text shows the words “One month earlier”
SCRATCH: it all started one month ago…

Staff Rating 1-5: 4
Quality Rating 1-5: 3
Total Rating 1-20: 16
Suggestions:
First Impression: The GIF banner is cool, but I don’t like that most of the front page is in a quote from the previous owner.
Speed: Really good! The worker taking my order said it might be past the deadline, but it was completed sooner than the deadline I set.
Staff: There’s a lot, but one of them (the owner) seems to be taking most of the orders.
Quality: Pretty good. It looks great, except the eyes are crossed (I guess I didn't ask for them not to be)…and I asked for pixel art.

Critique for @Code_kid5619

Hey Ember! First of all, I’d like to say that I really love the idea and subject matter of your poem! It has such a great flow and is really sweet. I don’t have too many things to critique, mostly just word choice like you asked. (as I have discovered, poems are kinda hard to critique ahhahaha)

My first thing is that your rhyme scheme appears to be ABAB, as shown in stanza 2.

A bond that laid on the ocean floor,
Weaved together through many years
Of kindness, trust, secrets, and more
That connected us through happy cheer

However, by the 4th stanza, the rhyme scheme seems to break apart a little as the last words stop rhyming as much. I feel like this kinda breaks the rhythm you’ve built. By restructuring some of the lines I think you can make the rhyme stronger.

For specific lines:

Bobbing on the waves of our verses

Random note: you never mention what these “verses” are, so it's a little confusing. The motif of the sea is very important to the poem, but I think what the sea is, or rather what it represents, is a little underdeveloped.

And so, came a storm

I think you could make the cause/effect relationship between the pearl’s appearance and the storm a little stronger, like (a blatant) “because of this came a storm” or (more subtly) “and after came a storm” or something like that. The correlation between the pearl and storm doesn’t feel very strong at the moment.

And so we grew distantly apart

Instead of “grew”, I think you could use a word to make this more powerful, like “were thrown apart” or something that displays the strength and destructive power of the storm.

Gradually, our bond held on,
Bit by bit until it broke apart

These two lines are contradictory. Are you trying to say that their bond tried to hold on but was still broken?

Eventually the storm went away,

Since the storm is a metaphor for an actual fight between friends, perhaps you could be more specific than just “went away”. Usually, time causes fights to, in a sense, fade away, so maybe be more specific to indicate how the storm left.

Also, at this point in the poem, the tense changes. I don’t know if this is intentional or not, but if so, the last line should probably be changed to “returns” to fit.

My final question:

Two islands, now lost

The only thing I think this poem is missing is a little more impact, but this line captures it perfectly. This line leads me to ask. Why is their friendship important? How are they lost without each other? What makes them believe that a recovery from the storm is worth fighting for?
If you can explore the value and meaning of their friendship beyond what is simply happening and what that says about friendship, your poem will be so much stronger.

Not difficult, you don't even need to encode a value you know is numeric, just give it a fixed number of digits. So encoded username followed by separator (usually 00) followed by, say, 5 digits for the score. If you use one cloud variable per leaderboard slot you don't even need to use a fixewd length value since nothing will come after it.

Yes, but you could use this:

Tested, the variable just rounds to the nearest number.

Here's a more specific and earlier dupe.
A want there to be a way to undo a favorite project so that a favorite project that you have is no longer on your favorite projects menu. An idea I have would be to have a button that says delete select. Normally the button would be off but by clicking it once it will turn on and when it's on you can delete one of your favorite projects from the menu by hovering your mouse over the project and then clicking an “X” mark on the top right corner of the project. This feature would make it easier for clustering up your favorite projects that you no longer want and removing them. Hopefully this shouldn't be hard to add.

It has come to my attention that a certain game, BIA, aka brother in Arms is being targeted for being banned by scratch. I don’t have any stakes in the matter. However I have seen time and time again were these conflicts occur with the same thing happening each time. People judge fandoms and games without actually understanding what they are about. I’ve played BIA, I has almost no guns, weapons or anything actually violent, it’s more like a board game then an actual video game. However a lot of people just assume it’s violent, while yes it has violence, it’s not shown, it’s just implied. The argument it’s historically relevant is true, so is the argument that a certain painter and his actions should be censored. What’s not true is all the assumptions about the game. How can you say “I haven’t played it, but I know-“ well then you don’t have a full perspective, and thus your going on less accurate data then the people who have played it for months and spend dozens of hours on the game. They have made friends, worked harder and created communities with the remix’s of BIA, they should be allowed to have the right for you to at least try and look into the problem before declaring it unsafe for scratch. My argument isn’t that is should be allowed, but for everyone to come together and actually look at something with actual evidence for once instead of assuming things. It’s not that I’m invested in this particular issue, it just seems to me that on scratch people have problems about dealing with banned things, entire communities are just wiped out from existence sometimes, and they deserve to be honestly examined by users who actively try and seek the truth. Am I wrong to believe this? What is the actual way to deal with banned communities?

Example: A heart and favorite detectors for free items or a skin isn't allowed, but saying “Thanks!” is allowed.
Why is it that I've seen many trending projects with a love/fave detector for a skin, and nothing has happened to the projects, except a couple getting mass reported?

I'm not sure if this belongs in the HwS forum or not, but what happens if a repeat block has a decimal in it? If i have this code:

Merge would be a great addition to the scratch vector editor. It is not the same thing as group group makes it so you only have to select one of the grouped objects. Merge would make the objects the same object. Like you grab two objects that are overlapping, select both of them and hit merge the lines between them disappear and they became the same object. I know there are more ways to do this like grabbing a vertex and extending it or using line tool and leave it open but this would be a lot simpler, easier and more consistent.

The problem with the player collision detection is because you're repeatedly resending the broadcast, and the broadcast has a “wait 1 seconds” inside of it, and every time it's broadcasted it gets reset so it's never completed until its not repeatedly being broadcast, when the player isn't being touched.

I recommend using a removing the wait block, or making some way so that it only broadcasts once, such as setting a local variable to “1” when it touches so it only broadcasts once.

I can't seem to replicate the second problem you have with the “my etbs” list, the list worked fine for me with 0's and 1s as values, not only 1's.
