I had the same problem when I installed the DLC for Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney!

I figured it out. I really am stupid. I tried to install the ones with no megabytes. I chose to install the ones with megabytes and it worked.

I have a problem with EVC. You see, Nintendo Channel and CMOC work fine (I haven't tested Forecast and News channels yet), but when I try to vote in a poll on the EVC, I get an error. The error code is 051331, but my Wii's internet connection is fine, and I don't see anything wrong with the router I'm using. (I have 2 routers, a 1 gig for most devices and a 2G for the Wii.) I looked at the vote results history and it seems that the polls that appeared on my EVC are outdated. Can someone help me?

If you're wondering how I got the RC24 channels, the patcher wasn't working so I just got them from MarioCube.

Here's more context on my problem with EVC:

I changed the DNS to the RC24 servers and it still gave me the Nintendo EULA. This means that the router or ISP blocks access to custom DNS (cDNS for short) and I can do nothing about it. Is this the reason why Everybody Votes isn't working? The status page for RC24 said all services are operational, so I think it's my internet that's not letting me use EVC. The error code is 051331, which was the same error I got when I stupidly tried to connect my Wii to my 1gig internet. But I'm using a 2.4ghz Wifi router and the EVC gives me that error when I try to vote.

Before I got a router specifically for my Wii, I used str2hax and it worked fine. Apparently now that my Wii is connected to a different internet router that doesn't support cDNS, it doesn't respond to the new DNS and just throws the Nintendo EULA in my face.

1) don't use rc24
2) if you were to get rc24, just use the patcher

It's an “archive” of many Wii and GameCube titles, DLCs, etc.

Guys I need help. When I enter the weather channel it displays “FORE000006”, but the news channel is fine. This leads me to believe that AccuWeather servers are down.

I use RC24 btw, not WiiLink.

EDIT: It started working!

My RC24 Nintendo Channel turned into a WiiLink version lol

And how do you get the WiiLink patcher to work on macOS Sierra? (IIRC I'm using version 10.12.6) Their guide says that you just right click the file and click ‘Open’, but do I need terminal?

And before you ask, no, I can't just get the wads from MarioCube. They have RC24 wads but not WiiLink wads.

Also, why does my Wii crash so much? There was one point in time where my Wii would crash so much that I was afraid of powering it on.
I deleted WiiMC and the crashing stopped.

Today it just crashed again when opening up Everybody Votes. The weird thing is, disc based games worked fine, but my Wii hated anything but that up until WiiMC was deleted. I remember it froze LITERALLY FROM CLICKING START ON THE FORECAST CHANNEL BANNER! I'M NOT JOKING!!

Is the Wii being overloaded by the amount of homebrew on the SD card? I think I have 3 pages worth of homebrew right now.

Now that Priiloader 0.10.0 released, it's basically a system menu of its own. I think it can launch channels and even launch games from a disc.

Is the “Wii themer” website safe? It looks sketchy.

Another question: There was unused English text data in the photo channel that apparently was referring to Digicam Print channel. This means that there were plans to release Digicam outside of Japan. I have an unmodded Japanese Wii with the original Nintendo version of Digicam, and I also have another USA Wii I never use anymore (it's wayyyy out of date, version 3.0U) with an SD card inside. The SD card has some photos on it. If I were to stick said SD card into the JP Wii and load the photo channel, would the button for Digicam be there? (In Japanese, ofc)

Outdated cIOSes like Darkcorp are what usually cause issues.
wii.guide is dead, it's simply a redirect to wii.hacks.guide
Don't install a cIOS into the IOS80 and IOS58 slots and you should be fine (patching IOS80 on a Wii or Wii mini is an extremely unnecessary brick risk anyways).

WiiNet's pretty cool, you should check it out. It's a website for the Wii's internet channel that includes many Flash games and other goodies.
I tried it out on my unmodded Japanese Wii (it has the internet channel). You do not need a modded Wii to use WiiNet.
To try it out for yourself, go to https://wiinet.xyz. (If it redirects you to landing.wiinet.xyz, this is because WiiNet is programmed to only run on the Wii.)

Okay, if I were to launch a Japanese Wii game with the Priiloader “Region Free EVERYTHING!” hack, would the text be garbled? If so then I would just use my Japanese Wii. I prefer the disc channel over USB loaders because you need CIOS for a USB loader.
