I got past the ship part then I died to a triple spike
I died at like 90% where you fall and then there's a triple spike that part is impossible

I'm making a clicker game where everyone has the same amount of money, but the money variable isn't saving. I don't know why (I checked and it is a cloud variable.) Does anyone know how to fix it?

Just asking, did you make sure none of the client's cloud variables went over 256 digits? I also noticed that you were trying to put more that 1 person's location into a single cloud variable. Have you checked the decoder to make sure it was decoding 1 person's information at a time, and not all the people's information as a single person? Sry if i wasn't much help, i'm not really good at this. I'll post this topic on @griffpatch's profile and see if anyone smarter than me can help.

It slightly affects the trending projects? How so?
That was in response to your question on if the share date effects whether the project gets onto trending. It is because trending projects are typically projects that get a lot of views and/or other social actions in a short amount of time.

Here's a Wiki quote that could help:

Scratch Wiki wrote:

Trending
This mode selects projects that have received a high amount of loves and favorites in a short period of time. The projects are sorted via how many loves and favorites they have, in proportion to the amount of time they have been shared. The exact algorithm used for this is not disclosed to Scratchers.

Pretty confusing but I'm making a multiplayer fighting game, everything was fine till I started making the ranged weapons. I thought making a different cloud sprite for the ranged weapons/projectiles would work just like how I did it with the melee weapons, but when I try to send information for the ranged weapons, it always blocks one of the other cloud sprites, how do I fix this if possible? (By the way, I'm using griffpatch's multiplayer scripts) (Also I'm new on the discussion forms ._.)
Maybe share your project so we can have a look. Also are you using the same cloud variables for multiple sprites?

I can do the aesthetics part

One second..

Didn't you say that you're not very aesthetic?
Or did you mean that you don't make aesthetic content regularly?
Or do you mean on this post that you can make aesthetic art?

clarificator wrote:

EDIT: I'm not trying to accuse you of lying or anything like that, Blau. I was asking for clarification, not making an accusation.
I did say that I'm not very aesthetic, and that's still true. I just use whatever artistic skills(not necessarily aesthetic) I can and my knowledge to do aesthetic orders. Like your bump banner; I'm not very good at aesthetics, but I noticed patterns and implemented them accordingly.
And no worries; I understand.
I'll start doing the hand drawing soon once i get clarification from StarryDove, and a pfp gif still needs to be image hosted bc its a gif. Annoying but possible, and i can image host.

I got past the ship part then I died to a triple spike
oh my god I am so sad right now. the code for my 3DS COPPA problem finally came, I entered it, then I went into ACNL and talked to Porter. I said I wanted to visit a faraway town. the message about “parental consent” disappeared, but now Porter was talking about COPPA himself instead of it being a separate message within the UI. I'm so upset.

before you ask, it still won't let me visit towns online. and when I go to the parental controls settings, click do not restrict, then “OK”, I will get a message saying that Nintendo needs parental consent. I did this process with my mom so why would I need parental consent again? regardless, I clicked “no”, and it kicked me back to the restrictions menu with COPPA still enabled.

please help me. the shutdown is near, and I don't want to lose my chances to the law.
Can you add the “repeat for () seconds” block? It would be a lot easier to make a repeat timer…
These are some honest ways to get views:

1. The Show and Tell forum.

While not all topics created there get views, some get quite popular.

2. Adding to studios.

You can add your projects to Add Everything studios or other studios that your project relates to (like a project about dinosaurs going into a studio about dinosaurs would be okay, but a project about apples would not).

3. Creating studios.

Some people create studios with a link to their project in them, their project is added to the studio, etc., and they invite their followers or other users to the studio.

4. Tags

You can add tags to your project so that they might end up on the explore page. Be sure to only add tags to your project that are relevant. For example, a project with no art could not have a #art hashtag. Also, do not tagspam. Tagspamming is repeatedly putting in the same tag. Use tags by going to the project title or description, putting in a hashtag sign (#), and adding a relevant keyword.

5. SDS

The SDS, or Scratch Design Studio, is a good way to get views. Just make a project that fits the theme and ask in a comment for a curator to add it. (You might get frontpaged by doing this.) Here's a link to the current SDS: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/34747126

Here is another topic by Suspenders101 that can offer some other tips: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/6658/ .

I think I might just BUMI

Im not remaking the federation. Place wasn't the best anyway and even the employees forgot about it.

so in my game there is a sequence where you break into the kitchen of walter white to make blue rock candy and the other person says that they expected something else when you find actual blue rock candy making ingredients (food coloring and sugar)
I'm making a clicker game where everyone has the same amount of money, but the money variable isn't saving. I don't know why (I checked and it is a cloud variable.) Does anyone know how to fix it?

Here is the link: Game

The project might be delayed a bit because my code decided to break.

EDIT: Nevermind, we're fine.
The hype is real.

It's cool seeing all of your guys theories for USM #3.

Hey everyone! The comments sections on the Nut Show projects are getting a bit disorganized as so many people are suggesting things to be interviewed, so now you can make your suggestions here!

For those of you who don't know, ‘The Nut Show’ is an ongoing series of animated interviews I am making! You can watch the full series here: The Nut Show

On the Nut Show I interview different people, objects, and random things so that the world can know more about them!

Please leave your suggestions for future interviews below!

you could interview a school bag , you could ask questions like '' do you like little children carrying you ? "
Being a Scratcher status sometimes takes longer than usual, it usually gets a Scratcher for a week or a month. Just wait or keep making projects and be supportive and constructive.

I don't think it will take longer than 3 months or 1 year, I hope so.

The project might be delayed a bit because my code decided to break.

EDIT: Nevermind, we're fine.
Literally every scratch mod has it.
Turbowarp too which is also open source which means they can literally just copy over the code.

Here's what I mean:

A return block like turbowarp which turns the block into a reporter.
E.g.
define return 1
return [1] ::cap

(return 1 :: custom) // this should say 1
Let's do a pass the game challenge. It'll start whenever we have enough people Requirements:
Be at least semi-good at coding, no beginners
You get up to three days to make your additions, but you must spend some time working on the project
You can also do art or music for the game instead of coding, but limit one of each.
Contact me in the discuss or on my profile if you want to participate
if you look at a sprite costume and go to another sprite costume, there is a small chance that the undo thing will just and if you click it the entire costume just turns into the costume from the other sprite. you can just press redo when you press undo though

Jumpscares are good to either get the player to keep playing or to delete Scratch immediately. You can do a mini jumpscare. Also, horror games typically take place in the dark, so maybe you could switch things up and have it take place in the light?
Lol, the last post was 8 years ago.

I don't think so. For as long asI have had this account for, it has always been delayed by about 4 hours and I think I have heard that it would almost always be like that (don't rely on that last bit of information, I am not entirely sure). Also, I think this is a duplicate, though I would assume otherwise until I can find the page.
EDIT 1: I think I found it.
I don't even get studio notifications anymore. My most recent one was two weeks ago. This has happened before, so it's most likely just a bug.
Also, the original topic you found is in bugs and glitches. This one is in questions about scratch.

This concept talks about user behaviour and warnings, well as a meter to determine account's current behaviour on Scratch. The behaviour meter displays current behaviour score, and it decreases when they breaks the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use, alerts are normally sent by Scratch Team.

How does this work?
The behaviour meter determines the current behaviour on Scratch.
Every Scratcher has a behaviour meter, it is permanently private from anyone.
When a new account is created and verified, they start with 100 points, and the maximum is 100 points.
The points are lost depending on the severity that violates the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use.
The only way to regain back the points is to finish a day without violating the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use.
When the behaviour meter drops down to 30 points, the Scratch account will be paused from commenting until they reach at least 30 points.
When the behaviour meter drops down to 0 points, the Scratch account gets blocked.

What are ways that affect behaviour score?
-3 pts | Comment, project, forum topic/post or studio censored by AI
-12 pts | Minor inappropriate/disrespectful comment
-35 pts | Major inappropriate/disrespectful comment
-28 pts | Minor inappropriate/disrespectful project shared
-42 pts | Major inappropriate/disrespectful project shared
-56 pts | Inappropriate/disrespectful project shared again
-26 pts | Inappropriate/disrespectful studio recently created
-54 pts | Minor inappropriate/disrespectful studio created
-72 pts | Major inappropriate/disrespectful studio created
-18 pts | Minor inappropriate/disrespectful forum topic/post created
-42 pts | Major inappropriate/disrespectful forum topic/post created
-26 pts | Being disruptive or tricking the community
-85 pts | Spamming or misuse of any Scratch features (e.g. reporting someone falsely multiple times)
-92 pts | Being extremely disrespectful, racist, sexist, homophobia or xenophobia.
-100 pts | Broke the country law, or infringing the copyright on Scratch.
-100 pts | Being disrespectful to the Scratch Team.
-100 pts | Manipulating the behaviour score with alternative accounts.
-## (Any) pts | Other violations of the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use
+10 pts | Finish a day without violating the Community Guidelines or Terms of Use

What are the behaviour status?
Perfect | 90 - 100 pts
Very Good | 80 - 89 pts
Good | 70 - 79 pts
High Average | 60 - 69 pts
Average | 50 - 59 pts
Low Average | 40 - 49 pts
Poor | 30 - 39 pts
The status below where the account is paused from commenting…
Very Poor | 20 - 29 pts
Bad | 10 - 19 pts
Very Bad | 0 - 9 pts

More information…
You can see the image examples of the behaviour meter with the link here.

Peace out!
I just want to suggest a couple of changes:
1. Why is a recently made innapropriate studio less than an old one?
2. I think below 10 should be banned from commenting instead of below 30, and 0 should not be banned but checked out to chrck if they deserve a ban.
3. Looking at your mockup, only 20-30 and 80-90 were shown, so will create message ideas for all the others
100: Wow! You're really sticking to the rules!
90-99: Very good, you just missed out on perfect
80-89: Already done
70-79: You made a couple of mistakes, but generally you're doing decent.
60-69: Not too bad, just be careful
50:59: You're not doing terribly, but please be careful
40-49: You're not doing terribly, but please be very careful
30-39: You're starting to get in trouble a lot, be careful
20-29: Already done
10-19: You're almost muted. Please be respectful
0-9: Please follow the community guidelines, we may have to look at your account

4. Being disrespectful to the Scratch Team should be 50, people do complain lots
I already updated my forum, Scratch Teams only manually change behaviour score.
If only St could change it, that would put a lot of pressure on them
Hello, I have multiple questions about the Scratch indexer. Firstly, if I had an old project made last year and I shared it today, the indexer would index it, but is the share date last year or today? And does the share date affect whether the project gets onto trending? My second question is if the problem that the indexer doesn't index all projects in a day has been told to the scratch team, why hasn't it been patched yet? Thanks

and i cant do anything about it?? like, i waited almost an HOUR. AN HOUR. and it still showed the message.

pls help, is this like a just leave it and wait till the next day kind of thing or is it like a glitch or button??

Perhaps you should refresh the page. That could help. It could also be because you've made a lot of studios. I've seen a few studio sets and most of them have about 5 studios. If they make lots of these, there would be 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 studios all by the same person. It could be seen as spam.

-100 pts | Broke the country law, or infringing the copyright on Scratch.
-100 pts | Being disrespectful to the Scratch Team.
-100 pts | Manipulating the behaviour score with alternative accounts.

It's possible to find the coordinates of the like and favorite buttons, stick a sprite there and listen for clicks. However, the instant a user reloads or leaves your project, (or even just hits the green flag again) the script will reset itself.

Also, don't abuse this information and make it so that people have to like and fav to use your project. That would be against the community guidelines.

Please don't bump up old threads unless it's really necessary. The clone limit we've added is a practical one to prevent projects from becoming unplayable. Otherwise, you could accidentally get sprites making infinite copies of themselves and such.
I'll be adding this later.

There is a new rejected suggestion:
I almost feel like this one is a little too “obvious” in the same way that “Remove the Community Guidelines” is also obvious. It should go without saying that the Scratch Team won't be removing the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines, so it doesn't exactly seem necessary to add it to the list.

What do you think, is there a good place it could be put?
If the clone limit is increased, there is a slight chance that the projects will lag (or rarely crash) due to too many sprites cloned. It is probably a good idea to keep a 300-clone limit.

There is no file size limit on the entire Scratch project as a whole. The limits are that each asset (costume, sound, etc.) cannot exceed 10 MB, and the project.json file cannot exceed 5 MB. As long as these limits are satisfied, the entire .sb3 file could have a very large file size; possibly over 700 GB, even: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/6084224/

i am an aesthetic set account, and other than project sets, i make studio sets. for some reason, when i try to make a new studio (for the set) all it says is:
'' ''Woah, seems like you're creating studios really quickly. Please wait a bit longer between creating studios.''
and i cant do anything about it?? like, i waited almost an HOUR. AN HOUR. and it still showed the message.

pls help, is this like a just leave it and wait till the next day kind of thing or is it like a glitch or button??

Or you could just find a project that contains the block, download it, upload it to turbowarp, delete everything but the block in question, and you now should be able to use it in turbowarp, just copy and paste the block as necessary.
I have been trying to figure out how to make a set of boxes always create next to each box, but sometimes when it goes offscreen it can't check for if a box is there or not. So there is a chance that it will go diagonal or completely away from the rest of the group. Can someone help me find the solution?

It will have stuff I have not seen before on scratch, like servers in the same project, and a chat and reporting system. If you help, you can help me finish this game faster. also, the song choice, I/me/myself definitely suggests three peters, and three is the magic number.

Yeah, no this is rejected:
8.9 Notification when someone unfollows you
This sort of feature could create a lot of drama within the Scratch community. Those who are concerned about follower count may get angry at another user for unfollowing them. The Scratch Team believes that users should be able to follow or unfollow anyone they want without feeling guilty about it, especially as their interests change.
read this before making a suggestion so you know what can and won't be added.

I recently got 100 followers and I posted it in the about me and someone unfollowed me and I didn't notice. Maybe in the next update in scratch, we can be notified if someone is unfollowing us? maybe? what do you think? Also, there's people out there that do f4f and unfollow a couple days later. can we do something about this?

If you look at the hair closely, I think that's Peter. That thing in the middle top panel looks a bit like Doc Ock's tentacles, but it might just be a fan.
