So it was time to do what she dreaded: go into the common room. If it was, though, Dream would be so terribly sad. This is her worst nightmare.

She braced herself and left her dorm. Into the common room. It's not like the common room was a terrible place. it's quite the opposite, actually. it had a beautiful large fireplace, nice chairs, and a wonderful collection of books. The perfect room for Dream if less people also thought it was wonderful. Dream crept into the room. She could already hear the din. But no – It wasn't all voices.

As she sat down in one of the chairs with a book, a boy her age approached her. Now who's this girl? Haven't seen her down here before… She heard. Dream glanced around. It seemed that she was the only one that heard it. “Hey! I'm Ray, nice to meet you.” Oh no, I feel something in my tooth… well that's uncomfortable. I hope she doesn't notice.

“Oh! Hi, I'm Dream.” She said quietly, barely able to keep her voice above the level of noise in her head. “I- I'm so sorry, but I have to go,” Dream said, running out of the room. That cemented her decision to stay in her room and the library for the rest of this awful boarding school experience. Is she hearing thoughts or did she finally snap? Dream didn't know. What she did know, though, is that her next class will be terrible. All of those students and a teacher in the same room? Forget it. At this point Dream would rather leave and face her family again.

C.AI has become a little boring so I started using a different one that is basically c.ai but with responses and is more creative. The only downside is that it doesn't have a filter ☠️

- “He seemed to be trying to eat me, or so I thought” is a little bit redundant, ‘seemed to be’ could be replaced with ‘was’.
- “You’ve got good taste,” Fern grins, I guess ” The comma at the end of Fern’s dialogue should be changed to a period here.
- The tense is a bit inconsistent: the first three paragraphs are set in past tense, and then it’s all in present until the last paragraph, which is in past tense again. It does make sense for the last one to be in past tense (since it’s at the end), but for the earlier paragraphs, it may be best to stick with one or the other, or find a way to transition between the two.
I really don’t have many critiques for this one, they’re all pretty nitpicky. I thought it was pretty clear what was happening, and the story is definitely humorous- the style of it reminds me of Percy Jackson

Weekly 004: 2091 words, Sidekick

Sidekick has always been just that, a sidekick. At school, at work…he was always only second-best. No matter how hard he worked, there was always someone better. That was okay. He did the best he could, and he was satisfied with his life. Mostly.
However, the world flipped upside down for him one day, quite literally, when a supervillain attacked the building where he works and broke gravity. Horrified and confused, Sidekick watched as the stuff of legends–superheroes–battled back the monster and sent him home to his own dimension. The reason for the unexpected visit soon becomes clear: Sidekick has a few wisps of potential clinging to him, and the villains, foiled so many times by the heroes, are desperate for anyone they can lay their hands on.
The superheroes confront Sidekick about this potential and invite him to join their side, but he can’t imagine doing so. The ordinary world is his home, after all. He’s just an ordinary guy with an ordinary job; how could he ever be a superhero? He says no. However, when more strange things start to happen, he’s finally forced to accept.
He begins training under Golden, a famous super who’s saved the world more than once. She’s practically celebrity status among supers, but she’s never taken on a sidekick before, saying that she doesn’t need one. However, the council of supers is running out of mentors, so they force Golden to take him.
Along the way, he meets a super named May, who’s pretty and nice and talented, and also a new recruit. She helps him get through his worst days in training. NEW CHARACTER.
Golden is a tricky one. She gives Sidekick pointless tasks that lead nowhere and won’t tell him anything that would actually be of use for developing his potential. He’s falling behind his peers and hasn’t manifested a superpower yet, while his mentor is shining more brilliantly than ever. Dejected, he tried to resign, which of course is exactly what Golden wants.
Sidekick thinks about his previous life. FLASHBACK. No matter how old he was, whether in school, at work, or with his family, he was always second best. Why should this be any different? He tries to leave.
However, before he can, he catches Golden talking to a supervillain. PLOT TWIST. There’s a mole in the super council, and he’s just discovered it, but if he reveals it, Golden is more than capable of exacting revenge before the supers are able to process the information. He can’t run away now, though–he’s the only one who knows, and if he leaves, he’s putting everyone in danger.
Sidekick has to make a choice. Will he help the supers and risk Golden’s wrath? Or betray his friends and save his skin? The question hangs in the air, unanswered…OPEN ENDING AND CLIFFHANGER.

It was an ordinary house, in an ordinary neighborhood, in an ordinary town. Ordinary birds flew through the ordinary sky, and ordinary trees spread ordinary roots in the ordinary ground.
The town was not so large as to be crowded, nor so small as to be confined to one or two neighborhoods. It was not overly dirty nor overly clean, and the people living in it were neither overly poor nor overly rich. It was a very ordinary place to live, all things considered.
Or it was.
That was before the monster came, and reality bent, and one man in particular was left very, very confused as his ordinary life turned upside down.
Literally.

Rain trickled down like the sky’s plumbing had gone awry, smearing the windshield of his car with fat drops of water that crawled slowly down the glass. It hadn’t been raining hard enough when he left to worry him, but now he adjusted the windshield wipers and focused intently on the road, glad that he was almost at his destination. It’d been a long time since he’d seen a storm like this. He wasn’t too worried–there was no ominous boom of thunder, no feral strike of lightning, but the rain was still slicking the roads with moisture, and people, at least in his experience, tended to forget how to drive when faced with unusual weather conditions. With a sigh of relief, he pulled into the parking lot, turned the car off and stepped outside onto wet concrete. The rain streamed down the back of his coat, rippling with icy fingers down his spine. He ignored it as best he could, opening the door of the building where he worked and doing his best not to drip all over the carpet.
Aside from the sloppy rain lashing the window panes, the day was just like any other day. He sat down at his desk, arranged his papers, and got to work. The seconds ticked by, then the minutes, then the hours. There were no meetings today, thankfully. He wasn’t sure he could have sat through a meeting of people trying to make two hundred dollars plus three hundred dollars equal seven hundred dollars. A strange restlessness had awoken in him, along with the storm.
He was about to stand and leave to eat lunch when the building trembled and shook, his pens and papers jittering on this desk. Did it have something to do with the storm? Maybe the building was just settling or something. That did happen, right?
The shaking got worse, though, and he blinked. His eyes were playing tricks on him now, making him think the bouncing office supplies were floating. Except it really did look like they were floating, and his feet weren’t really touching the ground anymore, and then there was a spinning moment of chaos and screaming as reality flipped and everything changed. There was a dizzying moment of neither-here-nor-there, and then the building settled, exactly as it had been…except it was now upside down.
And then, just when things couldn’t get any weirder, the monster arrived.
Looking back on it afterwards, he wasn’t quite sure how to describe it. It was a twisted tangle of flesh and bones and deep-set eyes, glowing malevolently as enormous teeth gaped in a snarl.
Coworkers yelped and scrambled and ran, but he stood stock-still, right where he was. Frozen by fear, perhaps, or maybe something deeper. Maybe there was the tiniest hint of curiosity.
And beneath that, tinier still, a spark of something else.
Something very, very fast and very, very golden whizzed through the air and hurtled into the beast, provoking a ground-rattling roar. His brain struggled to catch up with his eyes, but finally, he managed to make sense of what he was witnessing.
That was a monster.
And that was a superhero.
In movies and books, moments like this stretched on forever, leaving the character with plenty of time to wonder, marvel, think.
In real life, it was a matter of seconds before the creature disappeared with a tiny blip and another furious roar, and the super stopped in midair and floated gracefully back to the ground. She didn’t wear a ridiculous swim-suit like outfit, but a normal sweatshirt and leggings, although both were in an almost blinding shade of gold. Her curly hair was pulled back from her face in a simple ponytail, and her smile was just as bright as her clothing.
“Hello there,” the super said. “I’ve come to save you.”
Without giving him any time to react, she grabbed his hand and pulled him forward, out of reality and into someplace else and back again. Too disoriented to resist, he did nothing but blink at the sprawling metropolis that was suddenly right underneath his nose. Quite literally–they were flying, or rather hovering, above the sky-high buildings.
“Welcome to your new home,” she said.
He didn’t know how to process everything that had just happened. So he didn’t.
Everything went dark as his brain shut down.

There had been a lot of things to learn, words like potential and superhero and supervillain and the super council. Words like Golden and sidekick and mentor and student. Words like I don’t want this.
In the end, the words finally swirled together into something mostly comprehensive.
He had a power, or at the very least, potential for a power. Others could sense it, which was what had led the monster to him. The beast had been sniffing out candidates in hopes of turning him over to the villains. But before it had taken him, Golden had arrived–Golden, whose powers were so legendary she was practically a celebrity super–Golden, one of the most famous heroes of all time–Golden, the youngest hero on the council.
Golden, who hadn’t wanted a student but had been forced to take one because the council said so.
And that lucky student was, of course, him.
Golden had made it perfectly clear how things between them stood. She’d teach him, reluctantly. And in between classes she was going to pretend he didn’t exist and he was going to stay out of her way. She hadn’t even bothered to learn his real name; whenever she needed to use a name, she called him Sidekick.
He didn’t care. He might have left in the beginning, of course, but that was before May. That was before perfection brushed his life and marked his heart forever.

He leaned out over the balcony, watching the stars. They glittered like shards of ice trapped in the heavens, a sparkling expanse lit by millions of tiny lights. Golden lived in a huge mansion, and she loved going outside while still being in the house, apparently, because the home had balconies galore.
Light footsteps sounded behind him, and a warm hand closed over his.
“Hey, May,” he said, without looking up.
May settled beside him. “You all right? Rough day?”
“Yeah,” he agreed. “Rough day.”
She squeezed his hand once before letting go. “I can’t stay long; I just dropped by to see how you were doing. I’ll see you later, okay?”
He nodded, and she left. Probably to go out on yet another date with the stunningly perfect super that Sidekick was trying really, really hard not to be jealous of.
Oh, what was the use of trying? He’d go home tonight. He was tired of this. Tired of being second-best. He’d let Golden know that she was relieved from her duties of being a mentor. She’d be thrilled.
And things would go back to being the way they always were, an ordinary life in an ordinary town.

He’d been ten and his sister had been nine when their grades started differing. He got Bs and As for the most part, respectable grades, but she shot past him with her A++ on nearly every assignment and test.
He’d been an okay player on the soccer team, but his friend Zach was way better, a menace on the field. Now he was a soccer superstar, while Sidekick hadn’t touched a ball in years.
He’d been saving up to get his mom a nice birthday present, but his brother had saved for twice as long, and his gift easily surpassed Sidekick’s.
He’d hoped for the promotion, but a coworker got it. He’d hoped the girl he met in college would go out with him at least a few times, but her heart already belonged to someone else.
He’d hoped to get first place. But inevitably, someone else won it instead.

He went in search of his mentor, pausing when he spotted her on another of the balconies. He opened his mouth to speak to her, but then he heard her voice, although there was no one else out there, and she hadn’t seen him.
“Thanks, Roger. Yes, it’s a bit more complicated with him around, but I’m sure I’ll find a way. My guests are safely hidden where the council will never find them.”
Sidekick stilled, lips parting. It didn’t matter what she was talking about. If she was hiding from the council, it could only be something bad.
She whirled around at the almost imperceptible sound, eyes widening. A moment of silence fell.
“Are you going to turn me in?” she finally asked. She didn’t need to ask whether he’d heard. She knew. And lightning crackled at the tips of her fingers as she added, “I wouldn’t suggest it. I can make you suffer in ways you’ve never dared to dream of.”
The choice loomed before him, impossible.
Betray the council and save his life? Or make a run for it and risk what little he had?
His hands clenched and his lips parted again to reply…

• Story starts with Psyche being yeeted into the Killer Cupid Case. No, that’s not its actual name, because nobody knows it’s a ploy to woo her yet. This is done by her (now ex) boss, who essentially plays the role of the oracle here. Say wacky stuff and watch the drama unfold. #Goals.
  
  
• I have no idea what Psyche actually does, by the way. I’m too lazy to properly research. Just assume that she’s a detective of sorts.
  
  
• Eros is a chill, goofy dude. Yeah, he’s a murderer, but so blorbo!!!
  
  
• Psyche’s quest order is jumbled up here for convenience. She first goes to Demeter and Hera for guidance, then there’s Persephone, then Boreas. After that, there’s the fiasco with her sister. Venus is last on the list, who leads her to Eros.

Enid stares out the window at the bloodied mess on the field.

“I’m sorry,” she says, because she really is, “I wasn’t aware I was going to be dealing with a psychopath.”

“Not a psychopath, miss,” says the girl next to her cheerfully. “A serial killer.”

“Ah, of course. What an important difference. My apologies. Not, a psychopath, a straight-up serial killer! How could I ever mix them up like that?”

She might be sounding a little hysterical. She doesn’t care. This is way above her pay grade.

“Hey, take a breath now,” the girl says. Rose. Her name’s Rose. She gives her a grin. “I’ll help you out, yeah?”

Doubtful, but Enid could do with all the help she can get. She nods. “That’d be nice,” she says, and that seals her fate.

Hiya! I’m Sunny, a fifteen-year-old writer with an added passion for all things Pokémon (haha I bet you thought I’d say roleplaying /j). I live in the cowboy state of Texas, where I embrace both my Hispanic and country roots. I had the strangest feeling of this weight off of my chest



past roleplaying experience/explanation:

I’ve had an abundance of roleplaying experience in the past. My cousin has been roleplaying since she was little, and I was always roped into her writing escapades. It began with us roleplaying at home. We would pretend we were magical princesses in elementary school and write down all the adventures we planned to have as a story. Then, my cousin discovered scratch. She loved it and even created a successful human-based roleplay. A few months later, I joined Scratch with her. I, however, discovered the Warrior Cats side of roleplaying. I quickly found TFCRP and signed up with my first cat character. Yellowbeam.

Yellowbeam was a sweet guy. Very funny and sarcastic, but he also held an emotional side to him. I created him at around 20 moons and did a couple of roleplays before realizing that I’d fallen in love with this roleplay. Quickly, he made many friends, many of whom I still remember the names of. Eventually, Yellowbeam asked Chestnutheart to become his mate, and so many influential TFCRP families were born. Together, the two had three kits, Gingerkit (later Gingerwish), Waspkit (later Waspsnow), and Russetkit (later Russetwhisker).

I roleplayed with Yellowbeam for about 10 more weeks before my family moved back to the United States. I was living with my aunt in Berlin for a couple of months as an exchange student, but her family was no longer able to support me in their household. I took a longer hiatus as I adjusted to the U.S.’s customs once again. I later returned to Scratch for a couple of weeks. However, a couple of weeks later my cousin sadly passed away in a car accident. I felt very disconnected with TFCRP. She loved that roleplay, and she owned a character named Swiftpaw that she would always talk about.

Though I loved TFCRP with all my heart, memories of her lingered in my mind every time I would roleplay in the studio. Eventually, I stopped roleplaying. This is something I greatly regret. I did not notify anyone that I would be leaving and I sort of just left Yellowbeam to rot away in the allegiances.

I didn’t roleplay for the next two years after because I felt uncomfortable with the thoughts of my cousin.

But one day I felt like trying it out again. Around 2 years ago, I joined a beautifully active community offsite. I roleplayed many different characters who I loved dearly and I am still active with today.

I finally feel ready to rejoin TFCRP. One of my closest friends has become active on scratch, and she’s told me of all the wondrous things that happened because of my baby Yellowbeam. It makes me extremely happy to see how this roleplay has grown and thrived in the years I’ve been gone.

I just recently created a character, Zigzagfortune. I love her so much and her personality is very fun to experiment with, but I felt myself continuously drawn to RiverClan. I made so many memories there, and I'd really love the opportunity to potentially make more with Lovebirdkit!

- nickname is lovie!

- Feels the need to act extremely polite and kind to others on the outside. On the inside her mind is running at 50 miles an hour and she's super sarcastic. As a kit, I imagine her to be super blunt and open about everything in her life. But I would like there to be a point where she realizes: “Hey wait nobody likes it when I info dump.” So then she becomes a lot more patient and observant of others' time. Lovie still keeps a super sarcastic inner monologue and is super judgmental. She just will learn how to mask it at some point.

- Lovie is a super passionate little kitty. When she has her mind set to something, she will go to great lengths to achieve it. This also makes her hyper-competitive, and she /hates/ losing. I think this'll probably lead to her having a crybaby arc as a late kit/early apprentice.

- Girl acts nice but is actually super jealous. She's probably always overthinking about how much better everyone else looks but she's forgetting about how she's absolutely gorgeous (she is gorgeous!!! @ruemeow defo delivered)

- Lovie is very dreamer-like. Part of her 50 miles an hour brain is thinking about all the possibilities of life/her existence. I feel that she'd definitely be the type to have a mid-life crisis at around 40 moons.

- I feel that an obsession with flying is fitting for Lovie. Her biggest kit fantasy would be flying to the stars to meet her ancestors and loved ones. She would be very attached to StarClan and constantly remind herself that her time in the clans was only temporary. She gets very attached to those she loves and when they pass away she praises them in StarClan consistently.

- Adding on to this, Lovie finds family to be a very important thing. She constantly surrounds herself with the people she cares about and finds it important to share about ancestors to kits. She would likely want to have lots of kits to continue their “family legacy” in StarClan.

- Lovie would be cis and pansexual

The mind is a beautiful thing. It collects memories, thoughts, and experiences. It controls life. Lovebirdkit loves her brain. She adores it. Her form of passing time is to become trapped in the wonders of her mind. But her mind seems to work much faster than she can handle. It spews out facts after opinions after facts, and Lovie must struggle to sort out what is appropriate for the rest of the world. She must differentiate what is appropriate to say out loud.

Lovie is an over-sharer, she'll admit it. But it all derives from her love for others. She wants others to know about her mind. It's not done to be annoying or blunt, but she wants to share her knowledge and discoveries. Lovie wants to share her love.

However, there are times in which Lovebirdkit is so obsessed with love in which she forgets to love herself. She will drop everything for those she loves. She will become a brand new cat for those she loves. She will loose herself for those she loves. Her inner thoughts are not fit for those she loves, so Lovie hides them away. Until she learns about risk.

And risk is an even more beautiful thing than the mind. Though they are complete opposites, Lovebirdkit eventually learns that it's okay to be herself. It's okay to talk and blabber on about her interests and adventures. She will one day learn that love is reciprocal. It is not only given by her. It should also be given to her.

(note: this is way too dramatic to actually describe her. She's a silly lil goober and her mind is pretty funny rather than philosophical )

Positives:
Lovie is an absolutely kind cat. Though she doesn't always express it properly, Lovebirdkit embraces her name with every fiber of her body. She is a lover. Empathy is a versatile thing, and Lovie finds ways to express it in unconventional ways. Rather than through actions and gifts, she shows her care and concern through her words. Her words weave together beautiful paragraphs filled with joy, and sometimes even metaphors. Though she isn't necessarily philosophical, Loviebirdkit is definitely creative. She plots elaborate stories in her head, and in each one she paints moments of her real-life into a dream-like fantasy. Lovie also has an obsession with rhyming and poetry. She sings many of the stories she has in passion that overwhelms any cat's fragile heart. She is very expressive, for most of her life at least, and it is never a mystery as to what she is thinking. She values honesty in confusing situations and expects the same of others. She holds a golden rule mentality, in which she treats other they way that they treat her. As she becomes older, she finds comfort in worldly rules, as they prevent mishaps and mistakes. However, her head will never know any bounds. It is free roaming and cannot be contained by the societal norms that attempt to capture and claw at it. Lovie does not care what others think. Though she is oriented towards others and extremely familial, Lovie values her own independence. Her legacy is at stake, and she will not allow it to be tainted by the misfortunes of others.

Nuetrals:
Lovebirdkit also finds comfort in the ways she is spiritual. She strives to hold a strong connection to StarClan, and she believes that the mind is the pathway to the stars. She is enchanted by the idea of ancestral bonds and loves to learn more about her past. Furthermore, Lovie has an extremely sarcastic and hypocritical inner monologue. It's quite hilarious, but not when you are on the receiving end. This makes her quick-witted, but it is her choice as to whether the rude thoughts will overcome the kindness that she strives to share. Lovebirdkit is also sensitive in many ways, she understands feelings, but the ways she acts upon them are not always fit. Her own feelings are often put above others in the blink of a moment, as most of Lovie's acts of compassion are thought out and logical. Regardlessly, she is persistent. Once she has an idea it will never be put to rest. Sometimes, she has great and kind ideas. But other times, her ideas are self-centered and stuck in negative roots of petty revenge and anger. Lovebirdkit always wants to be the winner, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, she does not know how to be competitive in a friendly way and will let her emotions overtake her like a flood.

Negatives:
Every princess has her breaking point, and Lovie gets hers quite often. Though she claims to be self-confident and prideful, Lovebirdkit spends an extensive amount of time obsessing over other cats. She is a very jealous kit, which when paired with hyper-competitiveness can become dangerous. She always wants to be on top and the best. When she is let down, her whole world view collapses. Lovie, despite her kindness gets so wrapped up in the little details that she often forgets about the big picture and the dreamer mentality that she so loves. Also, Lovebirdkit is extremely blunt. She struggles to decipher between what is okay to say out loud and what is incredibly rude. She believes that she is being honest and truthful, but her words can be very hurtful. Even if they were said with respectable intentions. Sometimes though, she uses excuses to cover up her negative traits. Lovie doesn't see it as lying. She affirms herself that it's for the greater good, and that everything will work out in the end. She wants others to see her as kind and loving, and in her heart she is. But without darkness there is no light. We could not create fire until we learned about the night. Lovebirdkit must learn to find the balance between her inner pleasures and her wish to make others happy.

plot/arc ideas:
- As a kit/apprentice, I would love for Lovie to go through a crybaby phase. I can totally imagine her just being a whiny kitten with no respect for others. She would be a huge sore loser and an even more sore winner. Lovie would probably expect for everything to be handed to her just because “her feelings were hurt”. She'll probably have to be snapped out of it by one of her older siblings or Aspenfaith.

- As an older apprentice/very young warrior, Lovie will likely become more reserved, out of politeness for others. But eventually I'd like her to realize that she only lives in the clans once and that she better take advantage of all the time she has.

- Another young warrior idea I have is jealousy to the point of adoration. I could see her becoming so obsessed with another cat that it turns into a crush.

- I'd also love for her to be a mother who has no control over her kids. She'd be like: “As long as you don't change the cat population you can do whatever you want. I don't care. I better not get any complaints though.” But she won't be detached. She'd still be very loving and expect her kits to tell her about everything they do.

- My personal favorite idea I came up with is a mid-life crisis. Lovie would be the type to think she hasn't accomplished enough in life and strive to be more adventurous and “fun”. She'd go on daily adventures, even if they are oorp, and try to visit the other clans more often to expand her horizons. She'd likely be a very active warrior who attempts to balance both duties and discovery.

Aspenfaith: She's a huge daddy's girl! She always wants to spend time with her dad and will be very open about her feelings with him. Lovie would probably collect flowers for him based on how she feels during the day. She would also love for him to tell her stories about ThunderClan and him as a kit. She's very curious about his past, but she doesn't really respect personal boundaries when questioning. Lovebirdkit would also be very curious as to what Aspenfaith is thinking. She would challenge herself to learn how to read his emotions before interacting with others.

Dahlia: I can imagine Lovie having a close bond with her sister if the roleplayer is alright with it. I was reading Dahliapaw's detailed personality and I feel they would love to talk about what's going on in their imaginations and their innermost thoughts and dreams.

Bluebird: I feel like Lovie would definitely look up to Bluebird, and she would admire his hard-working personality. He might dislike her a little bit when she's a kit because of the cray cray but oh well.

Wingedtriumph: I've noticed that she's currently missing? But if Lovie does get the opportunity to create a close bond with her I feel they could spend some quiet time together. I feel this could tie into her “quiet” arc while she's an apprentice and give her some time to reflect on her habits.

About the idea of a server similar to sts and se. (Didn’t feel like digging to find a post to quote)

It sounds like a lot of fun. However, I’d prefer not to use client side mods (mods that you the player has to download) because they’re not as accessible and I struggle to understand mods, and I’d love to join a server like that. (It’s pretty much everything that I like out of SE without all the things I don’t like. Also, I’d like to be an admin in that. My qualifications are that I care way too much about the morality of what I do in minecraft)

I know a bug that you can use to bypass the size limit of songs but other than that could you link the project you are having this problem with?

How to bypass size limit of songs:
1. Load in song
2. Click save but stay in editor.
3. It should say “project can not save”. When you see this go to the sound menu, copy like about half of the song, and delete it. Copying it isn't necessary but is for safety in case something happens.
4. Save project (DO NOT LEAVE SOUND MENU OR SWITCH SONGS)
5. Undo the deletion of half the song and save again. It should save that time.

I have a major problem that started occurring sometime right before I began development on the item system in my Doors game. Closets and items will not spawn for some reason the moment I reach door 8. Even if i go back, they have completely stopped working and I’ve tried looking through all my code. - At the beginning, you wrote ‘i-phone,’ if that’s intentional than it’s fine but it is usually written iPhone. (you can also just write ‘phone’ or ‘smartphone’ if you’d prefer it to be less specific).

- The second paragraph/line could be reworked for grammar as well, changing it to “’Sure!’ Amelia and I responded.” would solve it.

- moving on to Claire’s section, there is this quote: “Speaking of which, which way *is* the exit?” It would read a little more smoothly if the sentence was reworded a little, so the word ‘which’ didn’t appear twice in a row.

- “There were many, many things in the antique store, and it was crazy to think we hadn’t reached the end yet.” Since the girls have already expressed this same thought, editing this to describe the variety of items in the store (instead of just stating it as a fact) could help drive the point home more. Similarly, a couple paragraphs down it says “I was getting frustrated.” and it could help to describe the feeling a little more.

-”We walked for some more” feels a little informal compared to the rest of the story, simply deleting ‘for some more’ would grammatically work just fine.

- and one final thing, towards the very end: in this sentence, starting with “We walked down the main aisle to where there postcard stands were”, the word “there” could be changed to “the,” and a comma added after the quoted piece of the sentence.

This story was fun to read overall, the confusion of exploring the store and never finding the exit reminds me of going to Ikea with my family lol. Great job, and good luck with the weekly!

make small but positive changes to your style, etc (they all add up!!)
eventually you might care enough to start planning out your projects
also, don't force yourself to come up with ideas. the best way to come up with a project idea is to let it come to mind without any prompt

I woke up, I was frightened and scared. I had a nightmare last night about my bestie getting run over by a car - it was a bus.
When I walked to school, my bestie was hanging out in the world. I wanted to help her, but I just froze. I watched her helpless body.
I then unfreeze, walking over to her quickly. I then yelled, “Stay out of the road forever!”
I pushed her out of the way before a car came rushing by, she then looked at me with fear.
“You wanted to k1ll me!” She walks away into the school building.

I did not reply to her, I just walked into school. After school I walked outside, I was holding my schoolbooks and saw my friend walking in the road.

The random dream then flashed in my mind, I imagined the suffering. The pain. Everything is happening. I got scared and walked over to her and said, “Bestie! Get out of the road! You will get run over by a bus!”
She walked up to me and was still in the road, “What do you want?!”
“You’ll get run over by a bus!” I spoke. My best friend started laughing and suddenly a bus came crashing towards her. Red splattered everywhere, and I was very scared…
