BFDI
Battle for Dream Island, commonly abbreviated as BFDI is a show started January 1st, 2010 by twins Michael and Cary Huang on the youtube channel jacknjellify. It is the first and largest object show out there. In total there were 25 episodes of this first season.

BFDIA
Battle for Dream Island Again, commonly abbreviated as BFDIA is the second season to BFDI. It started after BFDI was over, and a few new Recommended Characters joined to compete. In late 2013, the show was cancelled and BFDIA 6 onwards never happened in part due to their AdSense account being banned, not allowing them to make money off of the show. As of September 1st, 2023, the season has been uncancelled and is back on track.

IDFB
IDFB, sometimes referred to as Island Dream for Battle and It's Deep Fried Breaths is the third season of BFDI that was uploaded on September 1st, 2016. So far, the series has only 1 episode and been put on hiatus ever since at first due to Cary and Michael's school, and now because of other projects. It is rumored that after BFDIA is over, the events of the season will lead into IDFB.

BFB (4a)
Battle for BFDI is the fourth season of BFDI. It takes place after the events of IDFB, so everybody that was in the Locker of Losers is out. The first episode came out in November 2017. In BFB 16, the show splits off into 2 shows, Battle for BFB and The Power of Two.

BFB (4b)
Battle for BFB is a continuation of Battle for BFDI. Four and X introduce a new prize, a BFB. 14 contestants who stayed are the competitors for this half of the season.

TPOT
The Power of Two, commonly abbreviated as TPOT and pronounced “Teapot” is the 5th and current season of BFDI. The 40 contestants plus 2 recommended characters battle for the Power of Two, which is the host, Two's, magical powers.

Why’d the old one get closed? Only 26 pages.

Anyways, I love shows with 6+ episodes. Glad BFDIA could join the ranks of those.

Topic owner was inactive, and Paddle gave me the go ahead.

Technically, BFDIA already had 6 episodes+ if you count 5a 5c 5d 5e

  • Puffball literally acted so oblivious in BFDIA 5 and 6 like… how did she think she'll even win the prize when she betrayed her entire team even though they were about to be safe… Now that I think about it, why did she even keep winning the prize? I know it was because of her voice ig, but its kinda weird. I love her in TPOT but her BFDIA elimination was well deserved.
  • Moving on to TPOT, TV literally still stands as one of the most boring old characters in the entire show. Throughout basically all of the BFDI series (besides TPOT 5) TV has done literally absolute nothing besides being a tool. The only likeable trait about TV is his ability to talk in BFDI clips, which doesn't make a character good in general. Because of this, I (and many others) expected TV to be out from the game the first time he was ufe. But we all know that didn't happen because of the one-episode moment that TV got right before he was put up for elimination. (TV basically was involved with Robot Flower when she betrayed her team.) Despite the moment that TV finally got, this still didn't make me vote for him because of TPOT's amnesia problem with character arcs and storylines. However, TV ended up getting the THIRD most amount of votes out of the seven people from Are You Okay. Even worse, they just end up forgetting what even happened in TPOT 5, making TV back to being irrelevant in general. This especially sucks because characters like Fries, who actually had a good friendship with Puffball and was improving, ended up being the one eliminated for whatever reason…

Yeah I think TV would be a super cool character if he actually had a personality. I used to love him because of his unique voice/design, but he hasn’t done anything interesting (besides the dishes challenge) to make me want to keep liking him. The fact that TV survived over Fries, Remote, Naily, and Cloudy is so surprising because they each have unique personalities while all TV has is his Callback Voice. Not to mention he got more votes than Tennisball!

I personally want GB and TB out before TV so he can have some sort of “independence” arc and be able to think for himself (but knowing JNJ that probably will not happen)

really enjoyed the new episode it was fun! wasnt too big of a fan of (spoilers ig tho theyre kinda vague, highlight to view) what happened w dpa or robot flower nd basketball (they just felt kinda stilted, the latter is mostly an execution thing i think it could be more interesting later on if they keep it up) but otherwise it was very fun i liked the stuff they did with (most) character interactions and the ways the individual teams handled the challenges, i get thats kinda the whole point but like it felt a lot more focused compared to the previous few episodes, along with just a bit more my taste . also very pleased with that post-credits scene
didnt watch the entire thing of tpot 7 yet (only until the start of the intro) but im gonna go watch the rest of it rn

TPOT 7 had such good development and gave characters that had small fan bases (Fanny, Robot flower, and Clock) such great moments and it looks like TPOT will finally be the character heavy season that it was supposed to be! This episode was genuinely so exciting and gave us answers to questions and problems we've had for a while. I have a theory that DPA will start winning a ton of challenges and not lose for like 5 episodes just because of the death thing. I may update my TPOT prediction in a few months once we get more clues and hints and eliminations and stuff.

Yeah! I havent really been liking DPA but this episode was amazing. I wonder how this arc will go on. Same with Robot Flower. How long will she be S1 Flower? I still don't like Clock though - he had it coming to him.

weird fact : BFDIA 5 had a scrapped script, where it would be split into 2 parts instead of 5. In the post credits scene, Nickel and Firey would've formed an alliance!

Other changes included :

Instead of 5B being a game, it was a very short section of the episode. GB, TB, Rocky and all of Freesmart's members would've been walking down a red hallway, and GB would seem surprised about how Match is still there despite being eliminated. Evil Leafy then would've sunken into Fries, with him being surprised. Firey and Gelatin would repeatedly tell Fries to vomit Evil Leafy up, however instead he vomits out GB, TB, Rocky and the Freesmart van. He eventually vomits out Evil Leafy, who Firey kicks into the Goiky canal. However, when Evil Leafy touches the canal, the water is converted into “Evil Water”.

Instead of Freesmart and WOAH bunch doing the weird obstacle course they do in the final version, they would've just climbed a 40 ft high pole to get to the top. Ice Cube wouldn't be able to climb the pole due to her lack of arms, so Ruby offers to get her to the top. However, she jumps down and shatters both of them, making Book have to climb back down and recover them both.

In the part that is around the intro, there would've been very dramatically long pauses. When Bubble and Pin started weirdly screaming at Leafy, they would've done it for a full 55 seconds before the intro started. After Leafy ate the onion, Leafy and Bubble would stare at each other for a full HOUR without any movement from either of them.

I just thought this was kinda interesting lol

BFDIA 7 was… decent, to say the least (highlight the post if you want to see my opinion on the episode so you aren't spoiled)

personally, BFDIA 7 was okay-ish, something I'm annoyed about is that the challenge feels way too similar to that one TPOT challenge format they used for TWO ENTIRE EPISODES (make/get something, show it to the host, they rate it from 1-10, team with lowest rating goes up for elimination), and personally I think that format, while it can lead to one or two interesting scenarios, is pretty boring. This isn't much of a gripe, but why are there suddenly adult jokes now? (I won't really explain them since this is meant to be a kid friendly website) It doesn't make alot of sense for 2 to suddenly appear in my opinion, I feel like they could've slowly ramped up over episodes instead of them just suddenly being here.

Anyway, Ice Cube, to my knowledge, barely spoke in the episode at all, and there isn't really much of an excuse for that since she did a lot in BFDIA 6, and the cast is relatively small so each character should atleast have a minutes worth of lines. The same kinda goes for Book, which is a shame because she's one of my favourite characters. The episode was also kind of boring, it felt like there was a lot less action this time around. The only parts that I kinda liked were when Ruby killed all of her teammates, and when Tennis Ball was considering switching to Freesmart just so he could get the Yoyleite but couldn't because of Golf Ball, I'd like to see that more greedy/rebellious side of TB more. Anyways, that's kinda all I have to say about the episode, it was decent at best.

Im not sure if he'll be purple any more, considering what Yellow Face did. When he gets recovered, he might lose his color.

And also, at least Icy GOT lines. Its better than how she reused them all the time. She is still pretty boring though. I do agree that the challenge format isn't as interesting though.

Nobody has… Until now! Most of my argument here will be from memory, so sorry if there's any incorrect info.

1- Winner! They were stated to be a duo with Loser (until they broke up), which can be considered as lore.
2- DPA and their preventing death thing? potential spoilers for TPOT 7, highlight to see: Fanny basically broke the whole “Preventing Death” rule and i feel like that might have some consequences??? other than DPA winning more i guess
3- … … thats all I can remember, actually.

I'll definitely visit this post later and try to add more info. just spontaneously decided to post this, mostly for fun and as a joke.
