So, one of my freinds got deleted from scratch when he did nothing wrong? Heres the story, So bassicaly, there was this dude who sent my freind a picture of his feet. Me being disturbed rather quickly and not knowing what the situation was gonna turn into, i reported the project silently. After a few minutes, My freind gets BANNED. No, not banned, DELETED. Why? He did nothing wrong? Yet, the other person legit got away with only his project taken down. This is the last straw to, scratch moderation never is good!

oh, reported to be closed, we can't gossip. and he was probably banned for a genuine reason, (I CANNOT SAY FOR SURE SO DO NOT USE THAT AGAINST ME IN ANYWAY OR TAKE THAT OUT OF CONTEXT)

no because it is their friend I don't think paddle would answer a moderation question about somebody else

It's never “no reason” unless he/she got false reported by people.
It could be that your friend didn't wanna be on scratch anymore and deleted the account

False reporting does not result in accounts being deleted. It results in the project being temporarily taken down and the creator temporarily banned (for what I believe is 90 minutes).

See this essay for more information.

If you have a question about a Scratch Team action, please use the Contact Us button at the bottom of every page to ask the Scratch Team directly.
Simply that is how the moderation system works. If they were your friend, then why would you want them to get closer to getting banned? You could have told them to take it down politely and prevented this.

That's fine, but it's not going to be solved on the forums. As I said earlier, your friend must use contact us or the situation will not be resolved.

If someone is banned and they create a new account to go around the ban, they will be blocked permanently on all of his accounts. You need to tell your friend to get off that account immediately or he will never be able to use Scratch again (it might already be too late…)

So uh… they didn't get away with it.

And you're not saying what your friend did to get banned. You're making it sound like they got banned for looking at a project, but it could instead be that they deleted their account, broke the community guidelines, or did something else that was bad.
