Scrolling “what’s happening?”

The thing I don’t like about the “what’s happening?” Section of the front page is that it only shows the last 5 activities.
I’ve nearly missed out on projects that my friends, family, or popular people have loved. And, it just gets buried back when someone loves 10 projects in a minute lol.
I’m suggesting that there should be a scroll bar, so it can show more activities. It would go on “infinitely”, but as with the messages screen, with the occasional “load more”
I think this could benefit everyone! Any cons to this, or what are your opinions on it? Discuss!

Sire, there appears to be a duplicate. We must siege at once!
(That means someone has suggested this topic before, please go to the link provided to prevent clutter and to keep the conversation in one place.)

Is the topic above a further duplicate of this?

Sire, they do appear to be alike, but the Jester states the other is only for scrollbar.
(I considered linking that one instead, but since the dupe i linked was specifically for a scrollbar i linked it instead, whereas the dupe you linked is for a “see more” button. Same concept, different, very different, implementation. A scrollbar would be much more intuitive than a see more button in my opinion.)
