No, mentioning or sharing yt channels is fine as long as the content would be appropriate for an 8 year old.

Yes, YouTube can be mentioned. Even YouTube Kids (but just make sure it’s not content that my gen likes)

Yes, but the forums do use the same filter as comments. So by making this topic, it's technically been automatically resolved

Yes, in this case it is, but two things:

We don't know the OP didn't go around the filter with an empty character. (I checked, they didn't)

Also, even though it's true that things that mute you on the main site also don't work on the forums, things that just flat out don't work on the also don't work here.
So, there's no way to know if something will mute you or not just from posting it on the forums.
