Scratch should add some kind of “Cloud Project” block where you can put in the link for one of your projects and transfer data in between your projects.
But i don't see something like that happening in a long time

Well first of all, you can't. Sorry.
But also, this is the suggestions forum, which is meant for posting suggestions for improvements/new features to Scratch.
