Possible Solution to Tag Spam
My suggestion is a bar below the project description. When making a project, the user could click the dropdown menu on the bar and select one of the categories on the explore page.

This would work a bit like the project tags system in 2.0, but you would only be able to select categories on the Explore page, and instead of a limit of 3 tags, you could only have 1.

This could stop tag spamming, because who would tag “art” or “music” on their game instead of “game”?

(Sorry if this is a duplicate or rejected, I checked the Suggestions Directory and the Official List of Rejected Suggestions.)
what if I have like say a project with art that has fun background music.

I'd say that the main focus would be the art.

Did you make the album cover?
Did you make the music?

If both are true, then I would say the focus is the music.

If you made the album cover but not the music, or neither question is true, then I would select the focus as art.

If you had another scratcher make the album cover, but you made the music, then I would select the focus as music.

Then the focus is music…
what if It is a music video, then it obviously itsn't just music it also is art but to say #music or #art seems wrong but #music #art makes sense. also I totally didn't just link that video to show you I am a fan of cobalt core ost.

No support. I agree that this would fix tag spam, but at the cost of people not being able to add their projects to more than one category. While I don't deny that tag spamming isn't helpful, it is probably better to have a project be seen than not because there isn't a good category for it.

No support. If you could only do tags for sections on the explore page, it would annoy people whose projects didn't really fit any of the explore page sections.
Right to some answering:

Yep, I agree about the category statement and only adding projects to one category would not help.

Nah, both fit it.
guys… it’s not the end of the world if you can’t put more than 1 tag on a project that can fit in 2 categories lol

(Im pretty sure the first one is it)
The second one, I believe, is a dupe.
