I personally believe that this part of it should be changed. Why when I look at the first four projects on the featured page I see projects by people who are super popular. I see TONS of projects every single day that are even slightly better by underappreciated scratchers. I believe the featured page is fueled by bias. Can we change it's fuel to Quality and Diversity? Thank you for reading.

I think you've gotten it a bit backwards. When someone is featured, they usually don't start out as being popular. But, they're on the front page, so lots of people follow them, which is why every featuree now has hundreds of followers.

If you want to propose a project you think is “slightly better by underappreciated Scratchers”, you can do that in Proposed Projects to Be Featured.
