share your creative scratch navbars
a really funny topic i guess

yes, that's right, there is art in everything, including that html5 panel at the top of the website that you click on to get to places. the art world will never be the same again, thanks to the booming new craze that is creative scratch navbars. so please, share your scratch navigation bars here! just make sure they follow the community guidelines, obviously.

feel free to share either the navbar you use on a normal basis or a silly one you've made as a joke just for the purposes of this topic!

here's the standard 3.0 one, just for the purposes of demonstration:

faq
q.) but why?
a.) because fun - minikiwigeek2 2022
q.) how do i change my navbar anyway?
a.) you can't, at least not with vanilla scratch. you'll have to use unofficial tools to change it. important: per scratch's guidelines, please do not refer to the names of browser extensions or userscripts. you are allowed to use browser extensions or userscripts at your own risk, but you may not advertise or mention them on scratch.
q.) i use the normal, standard navbar with no modifications. can i post it here?
a.) no, unless you've changed the presentation and/or the links, that is not allowed.
q.) should the navbar i share be using the scratch 3.0 or scratch 2.0 interface?
a.) doesn't matter, although sharing both would be nice. i personally prefer the 2.0 interface for its usage of functionality over form, but it's up to you.

if i see a navbar that i like, i will happily display it here for all to see, along with the username of who made it!

here's the first ever submission to this art gallery by yours truly

i missed the era from 2011-2012 where for no reason companies were changing their logos and user interfaces to be in all lowercase (my favorite examples being the 2012 jcpenney logo, and the microsoft windows phone metro ui) so i decided to go down that path. i also added the discuss and wiki links because i wish those were on there

>:-D guess which is scratchr2

this reminded me that i need to edit my navbar buttons (will give an update later when i do), but here's a simple Royal Blue one (all of those messages are from ST, and 8/9 of them are from this year /weirdflex)

i'm gonna guess the bottom one is scratchr2 because the top one looks more broken

lol, there's something entertaining about collecting scratch team messages

Nope, the top one is scratchr2 :P

this is going in the gallery, congrats!

oh, then i guess scratch-www isn't as broken as i thought!

here's my finished navbar i intend to personally use from now on. the banner is the same color as the scratch wiki's dark theme, the buttons are all lowercase, the searchbar is expandable, the pfp takes up less space, and there's buttons for the forums and the forum helpers.

Yea, no, its a side effect of how I made the small search bar work for scratchr2 pages I believe LOL

I've made the navbar only have links I actually click very often - for other things, I can just use the URL bar. TFH is The Forum Helpers, SA is Special Actions, and Project is a project that I have when I want to test some stuff so I don't end up with 999,999,999 unshared projects

Here's my navigation bar:

I chose that shade of gray because it's the one Turbowarp uses(or is very close).

This was sth I made a while back (before the purple update) based on the ScratchX header color (even though I don't really like dark mode because it hurts my eyes, though I remember making this for the dark mode topics and because I wanted to see what this would look like)

It's meant to have links closer to the 2.0 colors on 2.0 pages but the updates to forbidden word after the purple update changed it (also I had to disable everything but that extension because everything else breaks it or changes it)

I'm assuming you just applied a background image.

yeah that's part of it but i also applied border-radius to the nav bar and made it translucent. also did a bit of tinkering with the footer but you can't see that from the picture
I see a lot of navbars here but there's only one correct answer.
