Welcome! (If you have not been accepted, please don’t go any farther to avoid spoilers.)

Anyway, here are the members and rules

Members:
jcpbuilder - Writer and idea person
Fgfoxy - idea person
RAB2010 - idea person

Each book will be divided into 4 phases:
Phase 1: Coming up with ideas and formulating a plot
Phase 2: Writing
Phase 3: Editing
Phase 4: Release

If you are an idea person you can begin to come up with ideas. Remember: There are no bad ideas. Also, remember, nothing is canon in this universe except for movies 1-6 and TCW. Feel free to contradict anything else when you come up with ideas.

NOTE: Just because that stuff isn’t canon, doesn’t mean you can’t use characters from it.

These can be ideas about:
Characters
Plot
Setting
Antagonist(s)
Etc.

Once we have some characters and antagonists and plot ideas we want to include we can begin to form a plot outline and synopsis. (And a title or we could wait until we finish the book)

After that the writer(s) will begin to write the book.

After that we’ll go through the change and edit things to make more sense. Then we’ll come up with a title if we haven’t already. We’ll also create cover art.

Once we’re finished we’ll set a release date.

Then we’ll release it. (As one project or a chapter at a time. It probably depends on how long it ends up being.)

And remember, if you have any questions just ask them.

ok so i think that at least Rouge One, Solo, Kenobi, Ahsoka, and The Bad Batch should also be canon, but i have an idea that (like the Timothy Zahn trilogy) that Grand Admiral Thrawn leads the Empire.

Yeah that stuff could be canon but we shouldn’t feel bad if we contradict it.

LIke if Mount Tantiss gets destroyed at the end of TBB S3 but we want to use it.

Rebels is good though. Maybe we could include the World Between Worlds.

The World Between Worlds is in the Rebels episode where Ezra saves Ahsoka from Vader and then they face Palps. It's also where Ahsoka meets Anakin in Ahsoka.

I think our biggest decision will be whether to make it like the Thrawn Trilogy with Luke and Han and Leia as the main characters or whether to do a “New Jedi Ordo” esque thing with Jaina, Jacen, and Anakin and their friends.

Hey guys so do I need to fill out anything? anyway I like the idea of a new order for the jedi. maybe the lost jedis unite and take on clone Palpatine.

There’s probably nothing important that you need to know right now, but if you have any questions about EU content just ask.
jcpbuilder jcpbuilder loading
Also, I’m not sure if Palpatine will be the main villain. We’ll have to decide that.
RAB2010 RAB2010 loading
okay then i guess will wait for a few more ideas then

Oh, wait. I misread this. I thought you were asking if there was anything you needed to know. You already filled out the form in the project so you’re good with that.

Also, I’m kind of leaning toward having the New Jedi Order thing too.

In Legends Palpatine had a son named Irek Iserman. What if we made him the bad guy.

yeah, I liked the idea when it was introduced in Mando, but I didn't like how the displayed it in episodes 6-9.

I believe he’s in the Eu book called Children of the Jedi but I’ll have to check.

Edit: Irek also appeared in one of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion books.

IDK how you pronounce the name. Probably something similar to Erik and the last name I-sir-man or something.
Okay even if he is in one book, we probably can still get away with using the name.

I’m not trying to create all-new characters for this. We can, but I don’t think it's necessary. We can take characters from canon or the EU and tweak them to fit our plans.

Oops, I looked Irek up and I realized I misspelled his last name. Correct name: Irek Ismaren
At least, I think that is correct…

Anyway, so in the book he and his mother are living on Belsavis which Lucasfilm later turned into a prison planet for the Old Republic video game. In the videogame, the prison was holding a species called the Esh-Kha. So what if one of the plot points is that Irek wakes up an army of Esh-Kha to help him.

Okay, so I did some research on the Esh-Kha too and they might work, but the biggest problem is that they’re a xenophobic species. So if we do use them, we would have to find some way to explain how Irek gained their respect.

Also I made a mistake. Irek was actually only rumored to be Palpatine's son but we can make him Palpatine’s son.

Nice! I like the background design on the cover.
yea i based it on star maps! i would say guess what system it is but it was really just random. also im going to need a vector of a top down view of both a Star Destroyer and a Mon Calmari Cruiser
I'll do that

Edit: Or we could ask Order027 for his top down Starship designs.
Speaking of him (order027) were is he?

So here’s a crazy idea that I had:

In the third book it’s revealed that the realm called the World Between Worlds is actually the Force and all the spirits of dead beings go there after they die, but only a few (Qui-Gon, Yoda, Obi-Wan, Anakin) are able to preserve their consciousness after death. Unbeknownst to them, Darth Sidious also learned the secret to preserving his spirit and is speaking with Irek. Irek takes a clone of Sidious and travels into the World Between Worlds using some sort of pathway and the siblings follow him. When they arrive they find that Sidious’s spirit has already entered the clone body but luckily for the young Jedi, Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Qui-Gon appear (in corporeal form like Anakin was in Ahsoka) to help them battle Sidious and Irek. After the clone body and Irek are killed, Yoda tells the three that they must destroy the entrance they came through (the only entrance remaining after the destruction of the Lothal Temple) to prevent Palpatine from ever returning to the galaxy. The siblings exit to where the climactic battle is ending with a Jedi/New Republic victory.

I know it's kind of early to be coming up with ideas for the 3rd book but it will be good to have an idea what Irek’s final goal is so that we can scatter clues about it throughout the first couple books. Maybe Anakin’s spirit contacts Luke and tells him that there’s a great danger not just to the galaxy, but to the Force itself.

Maybe Anakin’s spirit contacts Luke and tells him that there’s a great danger not just to the galaxy, but to the Force itself.
sounds awesome
agreed
yeah and a line in one of the books could hint to Palpatine by Thrawn walking by the command deck and “hearing a familiar voice that just vanishes”
Nice. I’ll make sure to keep that on the Google doc I have.
alright
sounds good

He says on the projects that he’s fine with people using his sprites if they give credit so I think he’s okay with you using it if you give credit.
