Specific Feedback When Scratch Is Censoring

I checked the directory for suggestions and the rejected suggestions. Didn't find this topic. If this suggestion already exists though, please let me know; thanks.

I think we've all faced the utterly patience-crushing notification when you're trying to post comments or posts in the forums that your writing was somehow inappropriate/foul, and you were unable to proceed. And for some of us who write in GIGANTIC blocks of texts and post it, it's really mind-boggling because we have no idea what Scratch is trying to censor, and Scratch has some of the most asinine words censored, like “eight hundred” and “k4raoke” (had to censor, haha).

I vote that the feature of actually specifying what words need to be censored or taken out is added to ease the lives and brains of us, the people. And I know it's pretty easy to implement too: literally since you have a detection for these specific words, just barf it back out in the output.

And also, please answer me this question: why in the world are these harmless words flagged?

The second example you provided is literally nowhere near asinine, do you know the definition yourself at all?

Mind you, that's an 18+ action you mentioned, something that the guidelines don't allow, so that's a bit of a hole.

Besides that, Contact-Us is your way to go for that feedback, so technically semi-implemented.

Yes, I do know and fully understand the various shades of meaning. However, it's just that: a shade of meaning. Anyone can create these stupid other slang-versions of perfectly fine words. The original definition of “3dging” means to slowly move away from, or in construction, it's an imbedded arrangement in the ground to hold back soil. In knitting and other textile-senses, it's literally the edge of a fabric, or hem.

And using the “Contact Us” button for this is ineffective, inefficient, and a thorough waste of time for both parties.

The issue is that once someone makes an inappropriate slang outta an existing word and it blows up, it's not possible for a filter to tell what you mean.

I've once gotten a bunch of grabify's domains blacklisted, even if it's inefficient, atleast you're not protesting like it's the end of the world, basically doing an even more thorough waste of time.

The ST doesn't want people to use the stupid slang version, so they put it in the filter; it's hard to make a filterbot detect context.

Duplicate, please continue there to prevent clutter and keep the discussion in one place.
You know what? I respect your opinions, however I don't back down.

This isn't just about the censoring odd words. It's also about providing specific feedback on what has been flagged.
I'm bumping this lol.
