VIBES Radio an idea of a radio station that runs 24/7 with music and some news. It is not yet in action so I need help to make it. Any way you can contribute is great so feel free to suggest new ideas or positions

Ok accepted for both jobs. So for coding I thought instead of live broadcasting we could run it on a hour loop and use a code that changes time zones to line up everyone who is watchings music. Now I just need to figure out how to schedule and play them at the right time without a million blocks

I understand. I haven't had any experience with voice acting so I'm not too sure what to do for the host lines and other host-like things.

Could you explain further in depth what you want it to do?

for timezones, scratch just uses the timezone on the device so if two people go on their computers (while in the same timezone), they would be able to listen to the same music if we set it up to certain times in the day. Otherwise, connecting all timezones in the world to one specific time in america/canada would be more effort.
ex (random times) 4:00pm utc-12, 6:00pm utc+5, 2:00am utc+3 = 1:00pm radio time

Yeah I found a code for the time zone problem. So basically we would check the minute and time and add if blocks for all the times stuff is playing then that would figure out which thing should be playing

Currently I have a microphone and a basic setup for audio recording, but I do have a rødecaster duo and I plan on getting a better microphone + soundproofing solutions within a month.

I really don’t need to be the host, and if the waiting period is too much of a compromise for the project I can just help with scripts.

How are you planning on doing the actual broadcasting? Will it just be a project updated to play songs
On a schedule depending on the time, with a DJ/news in between, or will you try to somehow play them real time with cloud data? In really interested to know.

Yea just coding an engine to play songs that are in sync with all the other people playing the project and chooses music randomly
