Hi Zion! (and just a general message for everyone <3)

I wanted to let you all know that you can of course change the design of certain pages if you think a different looked would better suffice the “vibes” of specific pages - especially if they are your cabin pages ^^' Adding onto this, you also don't have to ask/notify if you'd like to change some smaller things, because after all, we all own this memory book as a committee <3

Though, if you are planning on making some “bigger-scale” changes, it would be great if you could just post a comment here or on the forum just to keep everyone notified ^^'

That brings me to my last point - we know that in the past there has been a common misconception that only people belonging to a certain cabin can design those certain pages/that your responsibility is to design your cabin pages (eg: you're in classics and only design their pages). This is not true at all! We'd love for you to go and experiment with other cabins (though try not to change things people have done drastically ^^'), and would honestly encourage you to design pages that also don't belong to your cabin (hosts, daily team, etc.) <3 This way we can spread out the workload while also building a smaller community amongst ourselves <3

Tasks for now: (while we wait for subthemes to fully come in <3)

• Design the pages at the front (hosts, leaders, mbc, judges, etc) - this seems done for the most part!
  

• Create reference pages for each cabin (on the slide with every cabin's colors, add their respective fonts, related images, etc – for some of these, you may have to reach out to respective leaders as we don't have representation from all of the cabins ;D)

Hi! I haven’t seen any official results for the font voting, but it seems like our header is Best Light. What was voted as body font?

I think it's Kabel, since that's what's on the table of contents, but I'm not entirely sure- I was wondering as well.

That was what confused me, since Kabel wasn’t a font that was voted for at all.

Sorry for the delay on this (we just needed to sort a few finer details regarding the header and body font being used this session, so we truly appreciate your patience) <3 That being said – the header font for this session will be Best Light and the body font being used this session will be Just Another Hand. Another session special idea: new genres created by swcers during this daily

The reason I’ve been putting my ideas for session specials here is because it’s so early in the session that I’m not sure which memories will stand out the most, and we can’t have an infinite amount of session specials xD

I LOVE THIS IDEA i'm compiling a list of all the dailies, and i'll let you know when it's done so we can consider adding it

i really love the idea of having session specials, we've had so much going on (apples vs. goats, gurtle heimlich maneuver, new genres), and it's only day 6 :0 and we could possibly even expand it because i feel like it should have a lot of pages!

Yeah, I just don’t want the mb to be toooo long we do have to curate it down to the best things lol

brainstorming is never a bad thing hehe - it'd be great to keep track of our ideas, so i can definitely update our main post with some things to keep in mind by the time we get to the designing point <3 and we can definitely add a page or two perhaps, but i think narrowing it down to the most important moments we want to hang on to; the made up genres could also end up becoming a daily team specials moment!

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing good <3

Since we're currently about half way through the session, I wanted to just check-in to see how things are going. It looks like we have a lot of pages in the process of being designed, which is always an amazing thing to see! For those of you who read the main post when you joined, you know that we've been discussing potential deadlines for certain aspects of the memory book to promote growth on it during the session, and not just after the fact <3

That being said, here is our first *official* task of this session:

• Add all campers to their respective slides on the Canva: Due March 20
  

(note: they don't have to be written/designed in any special format – just that each camper's username should be listed on their cabins “main page” so that when we actually get to designing those pages, it will be easier to do so!)

Ooh, yes!! I think someone mentioned that the usernames missing from the list mean to “ask first”, and the only usernames on the list were the “always” stipulations (nobody did “never”)

Wait - this is weird though, because I don't think there are any (co)leaders mentioned in the list, only campers - because Mouse, Reese, and Zion are all “always” (totally not stalking hehe)

I believe the list was sent out before any leader stipulations were confirmed (mine is also always for the record ^^)

I just had a random idea and was wondering what you all think: what if we had most likely to's for the cabins? Like which cabin is most likely to burn down the main cabin, most likely to single-handedly take down balrog-gurtle, most likely to start a war, etc
