I, @thinkfast701 am collaborating with @CoderZB on this idea. We will promote this idea, so the ST will notice it. Ofc the community can also contribute to this collaboration forum. Me and @CoderZB will give credit to anybody who contributes.

Here is our idea: To have the ST create Honorary Scratch Team members and Scratch Alumni.

People who were very helpful and kind throughout the year, could be made Honorary Scratch Team Member. Now ofc, the Honorary Member wouldn't have all of the capabilities on scratch, of a real ST member. But they could have input with important Scratch development, ideas, featured studios and featured projects, FPC, etc.

People who have been with Scratch for a long time, and have contributed to Scratch overall, could become part of the Scratch Alumni. We don't have any ideas, on what the Scratch Alumni could have as capabilities on Scratch.

Do you know where the status on a profile says ‘New Scratcher’ or ‘Scratcher’? If anybody is given the status of ‘Scratch Alumni’ or ‘Honorary Scratch Team Member’ it is shown as their status.

You may contribute to this collaboration, by donating any ideas towards this cause.

Btw, you may also contribute by recommending Scratchers to become a part of the Scratch Alumni or Honorary Scratch Team Member.

maybe alumni could be able too visit mass reported projects before they're taken down so they can review for anything offensive or innapropriate.
and the honorary members could become managers of the official SDS/scratch community studios?
