This suggestion is for adding a button for the [wiki] tag as currently, linking to the Scratch Wiki using that tag can be tedious, especially on mobile as that can only be typed manually in regular Scratch.

Mockup:

There’s also a wikipedia tag i think, maybe add that too?

However, this is for the forum toolbar, not the navbar. The forum toolbar is the one that has the globe icon.

If so, how do you type it?

Just to make sure, you're saying just to add a way to quickly add [wp][/wp], right? What would the layout look like when you're selecting the new feature?

I'm talking about the Scratch Wiki, not Wikipedia.

My bad. I meant [wiki][/wiki]. Regardless, my question still stands. What will the layout look like when selecting the new feature? In other words, when you click the button, what will pop up?

A pop up similar to the URL pop up will appear. However, instead of saying Url, it'll say Article Name. By the way, a mockup for the pop up will be unavailable as the pop up depends on the browser being used, just like the image and the URL pop up.

Why do you support this topic? In the Suggestions forum, you have to explain why support or don't support.

However, new scratchers (including my alts) can't post links to outside Scratch, unless they use the [wiki] tag for the Scratch Wiki or the [wp] tag for Wikipedia.

However, I'm not sure if doing that would count as a Suggestion list, which isn't allowed.

The wiki tag exists though and it isn't shown anywhere…

Support, because then we won't have to use the most tedious workaround using the “Wiki” tags whenever there's an explanation needed with a source. And it's also used in forbidden word, too.

I had to use Window's built-in screenshot feature to capture this on my computer.

Semi-support. On one hand, this can be useful for new forumers learning how to link stuff.
But on the other hand, how hard really is it to type it manually?

It's extremely tedious on a mobile keyboard as when you choose a suggestion from the mobile keyboard, it autospaces it away from the tag. Also, it very tedious in general as the [ bracket is semi-hidden.

Since I often use the forums on my phone this would make helping people a whole lot easier because I don't have to do bbcode with a phone keyboard
