I couldn't find an existing topic related to the current Star Wars on Disney+ so I decided to make my own thread.

Here you can discuss any of the past, current or upcoming Star Wars shows on Disney+, such as rumors, speculation, or just overall opinions about the the shows or the franchise as a whole. Discussion about films, comic books, novels and video games are also welcome.

I too found BOBF disappointing.

alright so while I do agree that the story is moving a lot slower this season but I do appreciate the world building that took place in the most recent episode. I'll wait for the final two episodes to come out before I form my overall opinion of the season but I understand the concern people have with it so far.

I even hated most of the Kenobi and Vader stuff. Just a few things that bothered me SO much:

How was a Star Destroyer chasing that small ship for like an hour and couldn't even damage it?? What?? And where were the Tie Fighters?

Second, they made Vader literally stupid. He literally made the entire Star Destroyer follow Kenobi's ship, just to GET INTO HIS OWN SHIP to land on the planet… like what? Oh and then he made the Star Destroyer just sit there in orbit and let the fugitives escape because plot armor.

Third, what a coincidence Obi-Wan cut half of Vader's mask off the exact same way Ahsoka did a month later… it just makes that Rebels scene so much less powerful.

The only thing I liked was Vader displaying emotion and anger towards Obi-Wan. I'm not even joking, that's like the only thing.

I agree. I don't hate it as much as a lot of the fandom does but I was disappointed and underwhelmed with it.

Andor was a phenomenal show. Easy 9/10 for me, and possibly the best live action Star Wars show on Disney+

I still have faith that Dave Filoni will get Ahsoka right. I mean he nailed Tails of the Jedi imo, so I still think that he's capable of telling good stories.

You haven't seen all of Andor. You don't know how good episodes 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are

I really wanted to like Kenobi but they made some pretty stupid writing decisions.

No season three is the worst one. I was saying the first two episodes of the third season are the worst ones in the season so far though.

Yeah season 3 is definitely the weakest of the three. Though it's not anywhere near as bad as BOBF or Kenobi and I do like the season so far, its definitely nowhere near as good as the first two seasons.

I agree. Boom, I could state so much about Kenobi that makes it so, so bad and damages Star Wars in so many ways.
That's not to say the show is all bad, but tbh most of it just is.

The Foundling had no character or plot development, The Apostate is just kind of dumb and TMOM had some of the sloppiest writing in the show with Bo-Katan.

I'm changing my mind on this season of Mando. It's still the worst season, but it's not bad. I'd give it a 7 (while S1 is a 10 and S2 is a 9); I'm starting to like it. The Apostate was mid. The Mines of Mandalore was a bit better. The Convert was terrible. The Foundling was mid. The Pirate was pretty good. Guns for Hire was pretty good.

It gets SO MUCH BETTER. Episode 10 is probably the best Star Wars thing ever made since Empire.

The episodes themselves are fine, (THE CONVERT WAS GOOD) but they don't function as a season. There's no sense of progression in this 8 episode season.

Huh, Kevin Feige’s Star Wars film was never even in development. I guess this is why you have to take rumors with a grain of salt.

I’ve only seen the first two episodes of season three in The Mandalorian, because my family’s waiting for one of my siblings to come back from college so we can watch it together.
