Hello everyone! This is the Episode 3 Script for Infinity Gears! and it's finally here!

if you're not part of the cast or the animators of the series, don't get spoiled. this is not for you. seriously.

Anyway, if you're a voice actor, you can speak out your lines, then place them in a private project on a private account, and you can link them to me so I can place them in the assets project.
if you see any etc characters, like random people or stuff, you can just do those lines as well, and I'll determine which ones fit the most.

if you're an animator, the link to the assets will be provided shortly via a comment.
first, let me know which section you're gonna do, and you can do it. there are 5 sections in total, with 5 animators here, so this can work.
Also, you should probably wait until all the lines are finished, and then you can start animating. it will help with accuracy within your animation.

And now, For the Script!

Section 1

(BLACK SCREEN)

OFFSCREEN STM (SERIOUS)
Alright. Let's cut to the chase.

CUT TO:

INT: SCRATCH 3.0 HEADQUARTERS’ DISCUSSION ROOM

(Limited light source is visible, and the crew is seated on chairs. an STM is shown.)

STM: (SERIOUS)
All of you have been taken into custody for violating the community guidelines and mostly all Scratch Safety protocols.

MATJAM (VERY CONCERNED)
(Slamming his fist on the table) We have not done anything wrong! It’s King Dae’s fault! He was the one who started this, not us!

CAS THE KID (CONCERNED)
Yeah! We have done nothing wrong! We were trying to keep Scratch a safer place!

STM (SERIOUS)
Well, all of you are still held responsible for the casualties that occurred in Nano city. I’m sorry, but we have made the right decision to sentence you all to a ban period of 5 years.

(EVERYONE COMPLAINS EXCEPT MANGO)

STM (SERIOUS/MAD)
No complaining or your ban period is indefinite! Our decision is final, and all of you should be ashamed of your actions. I will now leave you all until we escort you to your cells.

(STM Walks out of the door, and there’s a short silence. Moments later, Matjam stands up.)

MATJAM (FURIOUS/FED UP):
Are you guys really giving in to this guy…?

PHOX (FED UP/CONCERNED/EXPLAINING):
Matjam… Look-

MATJAM (FURIOUS/FED UP):
Stop Talking…John…You Too?

JOHN O’NELSON (EXPLAINING/CONCERNED):
…He’s right, Matjam. We overstepped our territory… and we weren’t able to prevent any casualties from happening…

MATJAM (FURIOUS/FED UP):
Oh, My God…Well If You Guys Are Really Giving In, Then You Are Just A Bunch Of Dead Weights Slowing Me Down. Now I'm Gonna Stop Dae Myself… anyone who wants to join me is welcome.

(Matjam Storms Out And Mango Darts Up)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (FURIOUS/FED UP):
Matjam’s right, I can't stand by you guys, LaserGod died for us, you could at least fight for his cause, I'm going back home.

(We Get A Sad Shot Of Mango Walking Out The Door, Teary-Eyed, The Others Are Shouting Behind Him except John, He Walks Out The Door)

FADE TO BLACK

CUT TO:

INT: SCRATCH HQ’S BAN PRISON CELLS

(Sounds of prison bars closing in, and everyone is tired. Cas the kid sighs)

PHOX (TIRED/DISAPPOINTED)
Well, this is pretty much hopeless.

DINOBOI (ANGRY)
Ugh. I really can’t believe that Matjam had to leave us like this. He is definitely taking a wrong turn here.

CAS THE KID (TIRED)
Tell me about it… Now I guess this is our lives now. Stuck in prison bars for 5 years.

(camera pans right to see John O’Nelson’s face, depressed)

DEEPDISH (TIRED/CONFRONTING)
You alright there, John?

JOHN O’NELSON (LET DOWN)
…I dunno… I’m just a little tired, that's all.

DINOBOI (CALM/TIRED)
Are you sure John? You’ve been like this for 30 minutes.

JOHN O’NELSON (LET DOWN)
…well… Matjam and I are good friends… I just… I just didn’t expect him to be like this…

DINOBOI (CALM)
Yeah, we feel you…

MAGENTA (CALM)
Well.. whatever the trouble we're having, we can get through this together.. I’m sure of it..

DEEPDISH (CALM/CONCERNED)
…in this kind of environment?

(Camera zooms out showing the people in prison bars)

MAGENTA (CALM)
…I… I don’t know…

INT: MANGO’S ROOM

(We See Mango Appearing Back On His Chair. He Takes A Deep Breath, and sobs, )

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CRYING
):
I'm Sorry LaserGod…I'm Sorry I Stopped Fighting…

(Mango Lays On His Bed And Closes His Eyes, He Drifts To Sleep, shedding a tear in the process. Suddenly In The Middle Of The Night, He Has A Dream, He Sees Him & LaserGod Talking About His Next Animation)

LASERGOD (INTERESTED):
So, what's it gonna be about?

IRRATIONAL MANGO (EXPLAINING):
I'm Not Sure, got any suggestions

LASERGOD (EXPLAINING)
Hm.. How about an animation about
Thinking about Ideas for your next one?

(Both laugh)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CALM/EXPLAINING)
Yeah.. That would be a great Idea..

(Mango looks back and notices that Lasergod isn’t there)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONFUSED)
..LaserGod?

(Suddenly King Dae Appears)

KING DAE (HORRIFYING):
If you were good enough and stood by his cause, maybe LaserGod would still be alive…

(Suddenly Zombified LaserGods Start Swarming towards Mango, Attacking Him, He’s Reluctantly Attacking Them)

(Mango instantly jolts up and wakes up from his sleep, screaming)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (STRESSED/TIRED)
…ugh… not another nightmare…

(Mango gets up from bed, and slowly walks to his computer workspace, he turns on the lamp, and it shows a frame of GoldenEagleStudios and LaserGod)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONCERNED/TIRED)
…he’s right…If I was good enough and stood by his cause, maybe LaserGod WOULD still be alive…

(Mango Sits Down In His Chair)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONCERNED/TIRED)
Maybe If I Was Good Enough, LaserGod Would Still Be Alive…

(Mango Turns The Computer On)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONFIDENT/TIRED)
I don't wanna lose anyone else to King Dae’s hands…

(Mango Enters His Username and password)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONFIDENT/TIRED)
“…what should you do when you have a nightmare….”

IRRATIONAL MANGO (FULL-ON CONFIDENT)
“you wake up…”

(Mango Hits Enter And Logs Into Scratch, and at that point, he clicks enter, there is a bright flash of light, and He gets sucked into the monitor)

Section 3

(We hear a harmonica playing in the background)

CUT TO:

EXT: SCRATCH 3.0 HEADQUARTERS

CUT TO:

INT: SCRATCH HQ BAN PRISON CELLS

(Camera pans to see the crew mostly sleeping, John O’Nelson is playing the Harmonica)

CAS THE KID (LOOKING AT A WALL)
This is quite an exquisite wall right there…

DINOBOI (STRESSED/TIRED)
Forget it guys! Neither Mango nor Matjam is not coming back.. We’re stuck here! Banned! And at the worst time possible, Cause I have to finish my 10k special, and now I’m late! All because of those two!

(John O’Nelson stops playing the Harmonica)

DEEPDISH (CONCERNED)
Look, guys, All of us haven’t been trying our best to stop King Dae from saving Scratch, if Mango or Matjam couldn't see that, that's their problem.

JOHN O’NELSON (CONCERNED)
…How should we know…

DINOBOI (DIDN’T HEAR)
Hm? What?

JOHN O’NELSON (CONCERNED)
How should we know if Mango or Matjam could have a change of heart? If Scratch is going to go down, that’s because of King Dae, not us.

DINOBOI (CONFUSED/CONCERNED)
Wait… are you now siding with Matjam now!?

JOHN O’NELSON (EXPLAINING)
Guys… Listen. Matjam can’t do this alone, and neither would Mango. LaserGod had the greatest potential to stop King Dae. If he has that potential, then all of us can too.

(Camera zooms into a few faces of the crew, some of them become determined, while some still show regret)

DINOBOI (CONCERNED)
Well, how are we going to do that if we’re banned? It's not like Mango will appear out of nowhere and save us.

IRRATIONAL MANGO (OFFSCREEN/DETERMINED)
Oh, really guys?

(Mango pushes a button next to the cells, and the prison bars open up.)

CAS THE KID (RELIEVED)
Mango!! You’re back! I knew you’d come back! …r-right guys?

MAGENTA (CALM)
Mango! What are you doing here? You’re not allowed to be here.

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CALM)
I’m sorry guys. I should’ve not left you guys. At the moment, I need to get you all out of here, then we’ll talk.

(Red lights flash, and an alarm is beeping)

VOICE (ON INTERCOMS)
SECURITY BREACH!! SECURITY BREACH!!

CUT TO:

INT: HALLWAY SOMEWHERE IN SCRATCH HQ

(STMs rush out of the corporate offices and run into the situation)

CUT TO:

INT: SCRATCH HQ BAN PRISON CELLS

IRRATIONAL MANGO (DETERMINED)
RUN.

(STMs spot the crews escaping, and a montage is shown of Mango and his crew fleeing out of Scratch HQ)

CUT TO:

EXT: SCRATCH HQ MAIN ENTRANCE

(STMs become stressed that Mango’s crew have managed to escape)

STM1 (TALKING OVER COMMS/STRESSED)
Find the cyborg and his crew… they have caused enough trouble.

FADE TO BLACK

CUT TO:

INT: GOLDENEAGLESTUDIO’S HOUSE

(Shot shows people sitting in GES’s dining room. Mango slams his fist on the table, determined)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (SERIOUS/EXPLAIN)
Alright guys, Listen up. We’re going to discuss the plan. The plan is to stop King Dae from retrieving the gears, defeat King Dae, and to save Scratch for good!

(Mango pulls out the picture of him and Lasergod)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (DETERMINED/EXPLAINING)
Lasergod knew how this challenge was going to be tough, so if we want to make him proud, then we shall show King Dae no mercy!

DEEPDISH (QUESTIONING)
So.. How are we going to do this?

IRRATIONAL MANGO (EXPLAINING)
By making a battle plan…

DINOBOI (CONCERNED)
Well, here’s the problemo… King Dae has an army than just even the six of us, and we don’t even have the weapons and resources to take him down with the weapons we have now.

JOHN O’NELSON:
So.. what do you suggest Mango?

IRRATIONAL MANGO:
We’ll use what we get. Infinity gear or not, all that matters is coordinating our battle strategies and attacks, and always staying vigilant.

DINOBOI:
And don’t die!

(Everyone stares at Dinoboi in silence.)

DINOBOI:
What? I-I mean that’s the whole point we’re doing this, right?

IRRATIONAL MANGO:
Okaaaay… Well then, let’s get started then. What do we need right now?

DEEPDISH (Explaining):
We’re going to need a bigger team. King Dae has even more than just a quadrupled number of all of us right now, and we wouldn’t be able to stand a chance. He’s already a threat with just 2 gears.

DINOBOI:
I mean, it’s not like a fabulous team member is gonna show up at the front door right this second, so we just have to roam around town to see if some scratchers would even help us-

(Doorbell rings)

DINOBOI (shocked)
…oh. N-nevermind then.

(Cas the kid Rushes To The Door And Sees Huntedskelly at the front door)

CAS THE KID (GREETFUL)
Oh hey Huntedskelly, I’ve seen that you came to-
Wh- HUNTEDSKELLY!?!?

HUNTEDSKELLY (HILARIOUSLY DETERMINED):
Did somebody call for a hero?

(Mango rushes to the door)

IRRATIONAL MANGO (CONFUSED):
Huntedskelly? How did you-

HUNTEDSKELLY (OPTIMISTIC):
Well, I was working on a small little group of penguins who eat their young…and then I saw a text message from the god of lasers or. Losers or something, I dunno. so I saw that & here I am!

PHOX (VERY CONCERNED)
…Wait- DID YOU SAY PENGUINS THAT-

IRRATIONAL MANGO (INTERRUPTING/RELIEVED)
Well. I totally forgot that Lasergod pinged all his members, so I’m assuming the seven of us aren’t the only ones he has pinged.

JOHN O’NELSON
(DETERMINED)
And.. so it begins.

(CUT TO BLACK)

FADE TO:

EXT: SCRATCH CITY

CUT TO:

INT: ROADWAY OF SCRATCH CITY

(A shot is shown of a puddle on the road. On the puddle’s reflection, suddenly, an orange light blasts from left, to right.)

CUT TO:

INT: BACK ALLEY OF ONE OF THE BUILDINGS OF SCRATCH CITY

(A close shot is shown of the back alley. At the other side, the orange light is seen again, going through from right to left very fast.)

CUT TO:

INT: ANOTHER BACK ALLEYWAY

(At the alley, The orange light slows down, and reveals to be Scalex, catching their breath.)

SCALEX (GAINING OXYGEN/DETERMINED)
Alright… if I’m correct, he must be here..

(Scalex takes out his scanner, which resembles a ScratchBit, and searches the area for a figure.)

SCRATCHBIT (ROBOTIC VOICE)
Scanning for Scratchers nearby… no Scratchers detected.

SCALEX (FRUSTRATED)
Ugh, of course, this stupid thing doesn’t work, thanks a lot unreleased extension. …gosh, this is starting to get ridiculous already. Why did he even send me here in the middle of nowhere as a rendezvous point if he’s not even here in the first pla-

(Scalex turns around, and someone is waiting for him. Scalex jumps and gets scared)

GIOLABOMAN (CHILL)
Ah. Spencer. It’s been a while since we last talked.

SCALEX (CONFUSED)
w-wait… Giolaboman?

GIOLABOMAN (CONCERNED)
…Wait a second.. You’re not Spencer…

SCALEX (CONCERNED)
Wh- no no.. I am not Spencer..

GIOLABOMAN (CONCERNED/CONFUSED)
Well, you must be a different dino then.

SCALEX (CONCERNED)
I’m… an Iguana.

GIOLABOMAN:
Oh.. s-sorry about that, I guess I must’ve confused you with someone else… Ah well, I guess you gotta do with what you got. what’s your name?

SCALEX (CONCERNED)
…Scalex? ya know? I’m from that trending game that was made for the Australian Stem Video Game Challenge? I-I’m sure you pretty much know me by now.

(Short silence)

GIOLABOMAN (CONFUSED)
Nope. Never heard of you.

(Scalex sighs)

SCALEX (CONCERNED)
okay, Whatever. Let’s just go find Mango. He must be somewhere around here..

GIOLABOMAN (OPTIMISTIC)
Well, I do have his contact, so I’ll just track him so we can find him.

SCALEX (CONFUSED)
…You mean, track his location down?

GIOLABOMAN (OPTIMISTIC):
Wh- no! Why would I track somebody, that’s too cliche! …and also illegal here but besides that. What I’m suggesting is the classic knock-on-the-door technique.

SCALEX (CALM/UNOPTIMISTIC)
…Alright then, whatever you say Nintendo Labo person..

GIOLABOMAN (CONCERNED)
Gio…

SCALEX (CHILL)
Okay, okay…

(Scalex and Gio walk out of the back alley talking about other stuff, and as they walk out, the camera pans out, and zooms into a speck of light in the dark sky, revealing to be King Dae’s ship)

Section 4

CUT TO:

INT: HALLWAY IN KING DAE’S SHIP

(Matjam is hiding behind the corner of the wall, holding a detector to scan where King Dae is located)

MATJAM (FOCUSED/DETERMINED):
My readings say he’s down the hall…

(He looks down the hall and sees a bunch of Guards doing there patrol)

MATJAM (FOCUSED/DETERMINED):
Alright… Let’s Do This…

(Matjam leaps at the guards and we get an awesome Hallway fight scene. Matjam manages to defeat the guards in a short time.)

MATJAM (FOCUSED):
Alright.. Two Guards down.. Now to find King Dae.

(Matjam runs in the hallway, and out of the camera)

CUT TO:

EXT: ALEX’S STARSHIP

CUT TO:

INT: STARSHIP COCKPIT

(Alex is operating the starship as the pilot. Josephine is pushing buttons like a co-pilot)

JOSEPHINE (CALM):
…So.. How long has it been since you flew this thing?

ALEX (STILL FLYING THE STARSHIP):
A long, long while… Back when maybe when I was in my 2.0 age of flying this, we’d probably haven’t even met before that.

JOSEPHINE (CHUCKLES A BIT)
Yea.. can’t believe time flies.

ALEX (CALM)
Yep… Like, Scratch itself can be 2.0 for the first few years, and all of a sudden you wake up in 3.0… even we as ourselves can appear visually different as well, but… we’re still the same selves we were back when we first joined, right?

JOSEPHINE:
..Yea..

(Short silence)

(Alex then clicks a button labeled “Autopilot”)

ALEX (CALM)
Well, anyways, I’ma go grab a snack. Want anything-

(As Alex gets up from the pilot seat, he bumps his head on the overhead bin, causing it to open, and the Entity Gear dropping out of it. Short silence as Alex and Josephine notice the entity gear)

JOSEPHINE (SURPRISED/CONFUSED)
Wh- …You… You had the Entity Gear all along?

(Alex sighs)

ALEX (CALM)
Honestly, I didn’t actually know I had it with me.

(Shot shows Josephine picking up the Entity Gear, while Alex is still speaking)

ALEX (EXPLAINING)
Well I mean I didn’t know I had it all along until the gear fell out but I’m honestly surprised that it managed to survive the iceb-

(Josephine hugs Alex)

JOSEPHINE (EXCITED)
I've been looking for this for a very long time! I can’t believe you actually have the gear! …Thank you.

(Alex slightly blushes)

ALEX (EXPLAINING)
O-okay, Alright. I still have a starship to fly, you know?

(Josephine sits back down, and Alex goes back to flying the ship)

ALEX (DETERMINED)
Alright.. Turning on all thrusters for hyper jump.
3… 2… 1…

(Alex and Josephine push buttons in the cockpit, and the ship’s engines go faster)

CUT TO:

EXT: ALEX’S STARSHIP

(The starship then hyperjumps, and one second later, the ship stops, and they soon arrive at King Daes ship.)

CUT TO:

INT: STARSHIP COCKPIT

(Josephine and Alex are looking at King Dae’s ship from the window)

JOSEPHINE (CONFUSED)
Now how are we going to get inside the ship?

ALEX (DETERMINED)
…I guess there’s one option to get inside, and it’s not through the main entrance, I would say…

CUT TO:

INT: KING DAE’S SHIP’S STORAGE ROOM

(Two guards are patrolling the area of the room, but also talking at the same time)

GUARD1 (TALKING TO GUARD2)
No no no, that’s my pistol. Yours has your signature on it.

GUARD2 (TALKING TO GUARD1)
Nah, Paul, I know which pistol is mi-

(A sudden explosion occurs in the room, instantly knocking out the guards. The Starship crash lands inside the Storage room. The door opens, and both Josephine and Alex walk out. Josephine turns on her helmet.)

JOSEPHINE (CONCERNED)
Really? Was that the only way to get inside?

ALEX (EXPLAINING)
Well, there are multiple ways to get inside, I just thought this was the most dramatic way to get in.

JOSEPHINE (CONCERNED)
Ugh.. Let’s just find King Dae.

(Alex and Josephine walk out of the storage room, and into the hallways. And as they’re walking, they start to hear footsteps somewhere)

ALEX (CONFUSED/ALARMED)
Uhh.. w-whos there?

(Josephine and Alex arm their weapons, and walk to the source of the footsteps, ready to strike.)

JOSEPHINE (READY TO FIGHT)
Just stay with me Alex. Don’t go too far..

(Suspense music kicks in, and at the moment when Josephine and Alex turn at the corner, they spot Matjam face to face. Both Matjam and Alex jump.)

JOSEPHINE (RELIEVED/DISARMING WEAPON)
Calm down you guys!

MATJAM (RELIEVED/CONFUSED)
Alex? Josephine? You’re both here as well!?

ALEX (CASUALLY)
Hello.

JOSEPHINE (CALM)
Yea, and I’m pretty sure you know why.

MATJAM (DETERMINED)
Ohh. So you’re also here to stop King Dae? Awesome! I was hoping that more recruits would show up soon.

JOSEPHINE (CHARMFUL)
Well, what do you know?

(Matjam, Josephine, and Alex continue walking to search for King Dae. Then, as the three people continue walking, they’ve noticed that they’re surrounded by guards.)

GUARD1 (PROCLAIMING)
Halt! Intruders!

(Josephine makes an attack, then goes to a battle between Matjam, Alex, and Josephine and the Guards. And at the moment when the last guard is knocked out, King Dae has been spectating behind them.)

KING DAE (CALM)
Very clever of you all…

(The people turn around and notice King Dae behind them)

ALEX (FURIOUS)
Well Well, look who just came to our little party…

Section 5

KING DAE (PROCLAIMING)
So. It appears that you’ve come to take away my plans…

JOSEPHINE (DETERMINED/FURIOUS)
To take over Scratch! We get it already!

MATJAM (FURIOUS)
And you’re not going to take over our lands! Charge!!

(Matjam charges toward King Dae, but he uses the Illumination gear to freeze Matjam in place)

KING DAE (CALM/PROCLAIMING)
Foolish…

JOSEPHINE (FURIOUS/WORRIED)
Let Matjam go!!

KING DAE (PROCLAIMING)
And why should I? He’s already been here long enough trying to take the rest of the gears, and he brought me something that I also needed.. the Demise gear…

MATJAM (STRUGGLING BUT FROZEN/WORRIED)
H-how!? How did you know!?
KING DAE (EXPLAINING)
Ohh Matjam… every spaceship needs surveillance cameras..

MATJAM (STRUGGLING BUT FROZEN)
Y-you’ll never get the gear from me…

KING DAE (CALM)
Very well.. Let’s see who gets it then. Me, or yo-

(Alex surprise attacks King Dae from behind, and Matjam is able to move again)

KING DAE (GETS UP)
How!? How did you-

(Josephine and Matjam attack King Dae, and then a battle is shown between the crew, and King Dae. in the middle of the battle, Matjam is instantly thrown down, and the logo on his suit malfunctions and nano techs away, causing the demise gear to fall out.)

ALEX (SHOCKED):
NO!

(Alex leaps at the gear)

MATJAM (URGING OUT OF IT):
ALEX! NO! I set it to disintegrate so when he touched it-

(Alex touches the gear and instantly disintegrates)
(Josephine runs over to the pile of dust and runs her fingers through it)

JOSEPHINE (MOURNING):
Alex…no….

(King Dae holds out his hammer at Matjam and activates the gear of deconstruct & the gear of illumination, he holds Matjam in the air and uses the gear of deconstruct to slowly deconstructs his armour but into him so small pieces of his armour are kind of stabbing him)

MATJAM (IN AGONY):
ARGH!!! PLEASE NO!!!

KING DAE (PROCLAIMING):
Give. Me. The. Gear.

(We see Josephine who is still looking at Alex’s Dust and is holding the gear of demise)

MATJAM (IN AGONY):
Don't Do It Josephine, don't do it!

(Josephine hands Dae the gear)

JOSEPHINE (PROTECTIVE):
Let him go…

(Dae lets Matajm go and Matjam falls to the ground in pain)

KING DAE (PROCLAIMING):
Five down…and one to go…the entity gear… whose last known location was in Scratch City! But the thing is….I don’t need an army for this battle…I can just use my new army..

(King dae lights up all the gears then uses the illumination Gear to teleport away)

MATJAM (IN AGONY/CONFUSED/CONCERNED):
Why’d you do that?

JOSEPHINE (EXPLAINING):
We have the entity Gear…we can bring Alex back…

MATJAM (IN AGONY/CONFUSED/CONCERNED):
And then what? He’s already going to raid scratch city…that'll kill millions…

JOSEPHINE (EXPLAINING):
We have to destroy the entity gear…but the thing is…where…

MATJAM (IN AGONY/CONFUSED/CONCERNED):
My workstation…back scratch, if we get there, we can page the team, half of them can fight in the battle of Scratch City and a couple of them, can help me destroy the gear…

JOSEPHINE (EXPLAINING):
I know this is gonna work…

MATJAM (IN AGONY/CONFUSED/CONCERNED):
I Hope So…

FADE TO BLACK

(We see Acrisius followed by LaserGod into Matjam’s Workstation, he goes over to an anvil-type area)

LASERGOD (OBEYING):
What are you doing Sir?

ACRISIUS (SUSPICIOUS/FOCUSED):
Trying to create a set of important things.
