“Use a PC” is not a good workaround. This is a small essential feature that should work on any supported device.
this is not a duplicate i checked the directory
On mobile devices, dragging the handle on the corner of a list causes the list the move around. This makes it impossible to resize lists on mobile.
My suggestion is that the functionality is changed so mobile devices have the same behavior as PCs, where dragging the handle changes the list size.

Well, mobiles are pretty hard to use for Scratch . Try doing it on a laptop?

Here's a workaround: don't use mobile. Doing anything on Scratch mobile is a bad idea. Just look at the mobile forums.

don't use mobile. Doing anything on Scratch mobile is a bad idea. Just look at the mobile forums.I can do it on a laptop, but Scratch is supposed to be (fully) compatible with tablets. Here's a workaround:
I don't have a laptop or other PC available a lot of the time, it's much more convinient to use my iPad.
Why would they make the blocks very big so you can use mobiles just to deny compatibility in other parts?

You actually can resize lists on mobile, it's just that the area you need to drag is so small it's near impossible to do with helpless, fleshy, bony things tapping a glass screen. I don't think it would hurt to make the area larger, though.

There does seem to be a hitbox for something if I zoom in, however, dragging does not do anything on it. Fine. Begrudging support to accommodate the loud minority of mobile users, because mobile users shouldn't exist and resizing lists is an essential part of Scratch that mobile users deserve to miss out on.
(I don't hate mobile users btw I'm just joking)

scratch isn't really meant for use on mobile, however many use scratch for mobile…. just because of the design of scratch, it's mobile or it's not mobile theres no middle ground that solves it all

Using Scratch on mobile isn't something you should do, and I can't name someone that would be stupid enough to use mobile to code.
I'd be fine with making it larger, but is there really a point?

Scratch should improve its mobile experience a lot.

True! There's so many problems. Hopefully if each is focused on one at a time the mobile experience can be on par with desktop. Scratch should improve its mobile experience a lot.

100% Support! This is an example of how mobile Scratchers ALWAYS get the short end of the stick, ALWAYS.
This and many other features should be accessible by mobile users!

Not only does it not resize the list, when moving lists, there is a smaller screen hitbox that prevents me from allowing the bottom edge of the list touch the bottom of the project screen and the right edge of the list to the right edge of the project screen. Because of this, I had to mirror image my project thumbnail.

This would be useful for people on mobile with smaller screens and don't have access to a computer.

Wait… Maybe it could be that fullscreen mode that is entered from editor mode acts like the editor mode screen, so you can change variable displays, drag sprites around, and rescale lists.

my iPad that is older than me works better than my computer, so I use my iPad. but having to resize a list is such a rare occurrence, so no support.

Ah yes, don't fix a big bug because you in particular don't use the feature often. Makes total sense. my iPad that is older than me works better than my computer, so I use my iPad. but having to resize a list is such a rare occurrence, so no support.

You can't actually resize lists on mobile. Styluses, which have very small touch points, they don't let you resize them either.

Ok, back on topic. I support this, bieng a very active mobile user, it would make some stuff a ton easier.
Note: guys, just stop bullying mobile users just cause we have less. Some of us get by quite well.

I didn’t get one till I was 9
That is NOT a workaround
And it’s not a bad idea and it’s not very hard.the only hard thing is managing tabs and pressing stuff (ON THE FORUMS) and even that’s not that hard if you use the right hand and it’s not shaky.only slightly hard sometimes.
Don’t act like everyone has a computer or wants to use one.I prefer my iPad over a computer.it’s a lot easier and you don’t have to push down.on a mouse-pad-thing- I forgot the name of.
And I use standard forums.it’s not that hard and it’s not stupid.
Idk when people say use a computer it’s just annoying
And yeah support.it makes it easier..
