Hi guys! While attempting to create a Filmatory corporate forum,
I gladly stumbled across this old one from when the studio
was a mere idea of @cmackie1 and @valkrielight119 in 2019!

Welcome!
Oh, what's this for?
-Filmatory- -Filmatory- loading
Hey! I love the banner how did you do that? Oh this was a Forum, but I dont think we need it anymore xD

Sorry, no applications are closed..

It says I'm new to scratch but this is just my new account. I have been using scratch for 5 years
I think right now it’s plenty of fun, like I said before, it’s the commitment. By presenting the company as “Scratch’s Largest Film Studio,” it does place a lot of expectations and therefore pressures on the younglings of this company.
-Filmatory- -Filmatory- loading
That’s true - in the past, presenting ourselves as a “big shot” film studio has helped to entice people to apply.

I think we shouldn’t overshoot. Since F3 is still getting on its feet, already presenting it as a big idea either intimidates or entices people. But enticing younger folks may be a bad idea, cause they’ll jump into it not understanding the commitment and stress it could possibly create.

One solution would be me adding a warning when I employ people, as well as a lower acceptance rate/longer application process. I’ll have to do more research on their age and productivity as well as mental health status and they might need to be on probation for a bit before officially being a part of the team.

I think that's a good idea.
We should wait for input from Gravity and White too tho

Hi! I hosted an audition for The Creation, and I posted a comment to redirect people there. I also informed those who already auditioned to reaudition there (on their profiles), so I can keep a track of people who auditioned.

Awesome, that sounds great! Thanks!

DefyGravity, can you brief @Loki_Torren's replacement on the responsibilities of being a team leader?

Oh, and have you been getting weekly reports from the four quality assurance?
-Nphantom10 -Nphantom10 loading
@BlueDragon0910 is Loki_Torren's replacement.

We need to fill the corporate department ASAP - can somebody handle finding someone who wants to be corporate general manager and we need to find a corporate marketer or two.

The general manager needs to be a good communicator and organizer, same for marketer.

Is there anybody who can get on this?

Additionally, I think I will make a studiowide forum for all our employees to coincide with this corporate one.

That doesn't change the fact that the applications are closed

I'm getting on of the people who is, like, obsessed with me on board with being marketer. Still can't find a good candidate for manager who can freaking read directions.

Super annoying how many possible applicants I've declined since they act rude/won't listen to the very clear instructions about applying

I have a problem. I have put up the auditions for “The Creation” and “Grandpa George”, but I can't seem to get people to audition. And also, Nicky, I think you auditioned for one of those, could you please add a voiceover, ‘cause I can’t find it.
Try putting the auditions into those “voice acting auditions” studios. Also try advertising via the team advertisers. Loki got AWIW word out through her friends and by inviting people into a promotional studio (one specifically for audition) and finding their accounts from FollowCherryBlossom productions
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
Do we have any advertisers? Because I put the VA projects in a ton of studios, and the response is really poor.
Im interviewing a corporate Marketer right now, but they're super slow in responses so I'm not sure they'll get hired. I think we may have, like, one or two ta, but not a whole lot sadly. Our goals are pretty ambitious for our current workforce as it is.
Suggestion: Create a studio JUST FOR ONE AUDITION. Close the comments and link the audition in the studio description. Invite people to curate(I suggest using users from the Trapped AUDTION studios. If you don't get it I can explain more)
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
Yeah, a little more explaining would be nice, if it's ok with you.
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
Alright, I'll try to do that, but unfortunately, it won't be possible until the new year because I am going on a trip. Is that too long?
I personally think it's fine, but check with the ceo
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
I made a studio for both auditions.
Make sure the only project is the audition project.

And be sure to invite vas. I suggest the ones that are listed in the studio I linked
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
I invited them, but I also added all of the auditions, so I can keep everything in one place
Alright then, but make sure to link the audition project in the description so auditionees know exactly which project to use

Hey guys - we need a way to make sure that team leaders don't just drop out on us. Lost another one today.
Dont look at me, I'm in charge of hiring, not keeping them lol. Each one promised me that they had something they wanted to bring to the team, would stay active, and was very excited to work here
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
I need additional information for Impact day ASAP so I can inform potential writers. Please help.
Ummm maybe it's like either war or Doomsday?
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
Never heard if either of them. Sorry.
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
I have a problem. I have too much work to do, and I just can't keep up. Do you think I could maybe get a partner or something?
-Nphantom10 -Nphantom10 loading
Yes! I think that’s a wonderful idea! Feel free to hire one or two assistants or something of that sort!
_WhitePaw_ _WhitePaw_ loading
Unfortunately, I am not the head of hiring.

What exactly do you need help with? I might be able to help with some stuff (my work load is pretty light) and I need to know which people I can hire. (Loki might be able to help a lil too)

Corporate positions will be allowed to pick their Aux. officer.
I don’t actually need an Aux, I’m good at multitasking and my Scratch hours and pretty flexible. Plus my system is developed for 1 user, so I’m managing fine in my own
Should I put out a separate project for corp positions? It might be easier for me to find/enlist people, as well as make it easier to organize
Hey, I think I'm supposed to be in charge of “firing” people as well, but I'm not getting reports on who employees are doing. Plus, it turns out some teams are inactive and people want to transfer, but because I haven't gotten reports on their behavior and work, I don't know if I should approve it or not

I also asked the team leaders to tell me when I should take new members off of probation but they havnt been doing that
-Nphantom10 -Nphantom10 loading
Okay - if you'd like to do a sort of purge and let go everyone who isn't satisfactory, I'd be up for that. Allow them to reapply if they'd like to. It is partly my fault for not holding Quality Assurance + Old Vice CEO accountable for not submitting reports - designed a strike system and an easier and less confusing way of submitting reports for Pantheon.

Which teams are inactive?
-Nphantom10 -Nphantom10 loading
Alright - Perhaps just fire everyone and have them reapply?

Keep CSTV - I’ve given him the green light to continue Code Wars, which is the only real thing the studio has going for it.

We need to a system to force people who join to commit to their teams - maybe allow them to hire for their own teams so it’s people they’d actually like to work with as opposed to having it all assigned. This way team leaders can also adjust their team’s size to what is required for their production and work ethic.

If we go through with the latter, you’ll just have to make sure that the team leaders are actually hiring suitable people - maybe you still have to give them a once over. What I’m thinking is each team has a respective join project where people can join their team - once they have been accepted by the team leader to the team, you go ahead and give them a real quick look over before approving them.

As for corporate jobs, everything in the application process will run just like it does now.

Additionally:

I’m working right now on a sort of manual for each position which tells them their duties, responsibilities, and role. It also tells them specially what they do as their position, and who they communicate with for different things.

This should help Pantheon function as a more cohesive and smooth structure, rather than most of what happened getting lost in communication between members. The studiowide chat project should also help with this. We are requiring employees to check it at least 2-3 times a week. They must like the project each time so we can verify it. Otherwise they get a strike. Three strikes, you’re out.
Sorry for the late response! That all sounds good! I think yes, the team leaders pick out certain people for their teams and place them on a few weeks of probation. Then I’ll review their progress and take them off probation or fire them.

The manual sounds like a good idea, so long as other execs can edit it as the QA reports come in.

I also think we should get one or two teams to start up first before doing the 5 team thing. Just to get Pantheon up and running for a “soft opening” before we get all our giant huge projects up.
-Nphantom10 -Nphantom10 loading
I think that’s a solid idea - would it be possible to make a new application project for Pantheon?

Also, after closer review, I decided to still have all applicants, even for team jobs, go through you. They’ll just also have to be approved by their team leader.
