Total Drama Wikipedia Article
Total Drama is a Canadian animated comedy television series which is an homage to and parody of common conventions from reality television. The show and its sequel seasons are collectively referred to as the Total Drama series. It premiered on the Canadian cable television specialty channel Teletoon in Canada on July 8, 2007, and on the American cable television channel Cartoon Network in the United States on June 5, 2008. All of the contestants have distinct personalities that serve as main plot points with the characters consisting of the eponymous fictional reality series and the contestants therein. The style of this series is similar to that of Survivor. Total Drama was met with critical acclaim upon release and has developed a cult following.

World Tour was the best in my opinion, Action was kinda boring. The Ridonculus Race was good but had way too many non elimination rounds.

I actually really don't like Revenge of the Island as I think it's boring and generic. The new characters aren't very good either.

In my opinion World Tour was the best normal season. Island was good but it was sometimes annoying because of continuity issues. I agree with Frosty that Action was boring. All Stars was trash, Pakhitew Island was worse, and I just don't have a lot of love for those later seasons.

HOWEVER - the Ridonculous Race is honestly one of the best shows to ever exist on TV ever. It has great plotlines, great characters, and maintains the original Total Drama feel, with a twist. Although I agree with Frosty that there were way too many non elimination rounds.

Also, contrary to popular opinions I actually like Total Dramarama. It's fun and unique and there really isn't anything else like it.

Honestly World Tour doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I don't understand why only two new characters were added; and, arguably, both of them were annoying. I also wasn't a fan of the song in every episode.

(On second thought now, they added a third new character, I think, but not until halfway through the season???)

Which is all a shame, as the “fly around the world” idea could work well (as seen in The Ridonculous Race) but the two points above somewhat ruined World Tour for me (also, the old cast was getting kind of stale anyway).

I think I really liked Revenge of the Island because it was the first one I watched. I actually did like the characters in that season. Mike getting eliminated is the clip that got me into the series.

Action was my favorite. IT kept all the good characters from season 1, and then put them in a whole new batch of creative challenges. The drama was great. I also loved all the character love drama, really put some spice on TD.

also can we please get a season 8 and not this stupid baby knockoff where all the character development is gone and basically all the good characters are gone and now its just “HEY LETS TAKE CHARACTERS 5 YEAR OLDS DONT EVEN KNOW, AND MAKE THEM CRY, OVER AND OVER AND OVER!” seriously! In season 5, Gwen was focusing on becoming courtney's friend, and trying to become a “hero”. In baby show, Gwen is a “monstrous demon”. I do appreciate the cameos of characters such as the police cadet, at least they didn't ruin her.

Honestly, TD helped teens connect to the virtual people and sympathise, while in dramarama, NOBODY CAN RELATE TO THAT DUMPSTERFIRE.

I was so glad when netflix put the canadian version on American netflix, but they changed it back to being censored for no ABSOBLUTE REASON!
(other than the HD cartoon network footage, but netflix decided they would censor cartoon networks version, EVEN MORE!)

The part when Lindsay lashes out on heather? All she did was say a bunch of adjectives, nothing INAPPROPRIATE, YET AMERICA DECIDES TO CNESORE ITR?!

They censor the stupidest words like “suck”, and they supposedly removed the scene where heather was locked in the freezer for a bit.

They censored much stupider words but when the word “heck” (thats the alternative word to the word im referring to) comes in they leave it untouched.

I don't know what the uncensored version is like, but the censored version is probably better because the bleeps are extremely long and that's kinda funny.

Agreed. Why did they turn it into a show for 5 year olds? Total DramaRama isn’t that good tbh. It’s still fun to watch but I would prefer a new season of the original Total Drama.

World Tour actually makes sense. They actually made a special before World Tour. It was a reunion and they had 3 new characters.

Alejandro, Sierra, and Blaineley. Alejandro was part of Chris’s new show Total Drama dirtbags which ended up being a lie, Sierra was just that crazy obsessed fan attending the reunion, Blaineley was the host of the reunion.

The rest is kinda complicated. If you want to know how they ended up adding three new characters you’ll have to watch the World tour aftermaths and the special.

I agree with everything except the Total DramaRama part. I mean in the middle of season 1 they randomly went on hiatus for 5 months and plus they took out the good characters like Heather and Lindsay I would love to see them on the show! They turned Gwen into a complete goth like ThatOneWeirdDude said. In the original show she wasn’t nearly as creepy. The show also started targeting 5 year olds, with stuff that you know 5 year olds would enjoy watching. Total Drama was originally for older kids anyway. The show shouldn’t end but they should at least add stuff that the total drama watchers want.

I also think it's safe to say most of the cast died lol. In the end of season 5, most of the characters float off in bean bubbles. Now if the bubbles popped and they didnt die to the sun, then that would explain why everyone believe S8 was gonna be in space.

Actually, I believe the creators confirmed they were alive.

Though, I would actually like a season with the characters in space.

Action was just boring. It derailed a bunch of amazing characters - Leshawna used to be loyal and a great friend but in Action she was made into a much meaner person. Heather used to be a villainous mean girl but in Action she has no relevance on the show. Also even the characters that didn't get derailed were bad. Justin was so annoying, and Beth was just irritating. Speaking of Beth, she shouldn't have won. We all know the finale should've been Duncan vs Lindsay. It's just a fact.

Bridgette in Island: A nice person who was a good competitor.
Bridgette in Action: Literally just kisses Geoff all the time.
Bridgette in World Tour: Easily manipulated and didn't even have much of a purpose in being a competitor anyways.

TBH, it's sad how they handled Bridgette's character.

lol so sorry for reviving this again but yesterday i sat down and made my own version of total drama all stars because our actual all stars sucks and it's really weird but just hear me out

Contestants: Lindsay, Zoey, Scott, Heather, Leshawna, Dawn, Izzy, Courtney, Gwen, Duncan, Mike, Cameron, Jo, Lightning, Owen, Alejandro, Beth, Harold

so i had this idea that they would start off merged - like not on teams. so this is the elimination order for that:

18th: Harold - quit to save leshawna from elimination
17th: Beth - voted out
16th: Alejandro - voted out
15th: Owen - voted out

so here is where i would bring in the teams, and the reason i started merged is so the teams would be even because i wanted to do old people vs new people instead of heroes vs villains

so here are the teams

old vultures: lindsay, heather, leshawna, izzy, courtney, gwen, duncan
new hamsters: zoey, scott, dawn, mike, cameron, jo, lightning

okay so from here this is the elimination order:

14th: lightning - eliminated by jo who threw the challenge but used the chris head immunity thing so lightning got eliminated
13th - jo - voted out
12th - cameron - it was a race to the finish line and cameron was last
11th - mike - dawn used the immunity head to eliminate mije
10th - duncan - voted out
9th - gwen - eliminated by chris

Nice! I was pretty disappointed to find out Owen wasn't in All Stars when he's everyone's favorite. He won season 1, was in quite a lot of episodes in season 2 and 3 yet the creators decided he wasn't an all star. I would prefer Lindsay and Courtney as the All Stars finale by Lindsay and Zoey is fine.

I liked all of the finales except the Pahkitew Island one (well no one likes Pahkitew Island lol so makes sense). But they weren't all good.
Finales ranked in my opinion. Ridonculous Race not inluded.

1st - Season 3, World Tour: This was the best one, villain VS. villain the ultimate combination. It was so cool how Heather manipulated Alejandro and won. I watched that scene over a 100 times. Plus my profile aesthetics are from that episode I also loved it since it was in World Tour, my favorite season. The challenge was really interesting, very odd in my opinion.

2nd - Season 1, Island: Comes in second place! This was a classic since it was from when Total Drama first began and it featured likable characters, Owen + Gwen. I would've put this in first but this episode sort of helped ruin Trent's personallity. He was a cool character but after he got eliminated they really did him bad. Trent in Action is just… bleh, no one really likes him anymore and that's how it ends for Trent. But it was cool how they added the special after this episode.

3rd - Season 5, All Stars: *sigh* I can't believe I'm saying this but it was actually a good finale. I enjoyed it a lot. Mainly because 1) they fixed up Mike and Mal 2) The challenge. Without the finale Mike would end up like Trent and I liked the moats challenge. Adding the helpers was a good choice, but Heather and Alejandro were disgusting in that episode. And I think Lindsay and Courtney should've been finalists, but then again, it would ruin Mike. Plus I liked the sinking at the end lol

4th - Season 2, Action - I would put this in 3rd place since it's an OG season and pretty good but there is one huge thing that bugs me. The finalists were Beth and Duncan! The worst choice ever. Apparently I heard Lindsay was supposed to win but the voice actor was too busy. I would have loved to see Lindsay and Duncan battle.

5th - Season 4, Revenge of the Island - This would be 4th but Action was a classic season and you got to love that! Consider this tied with Action, finale was very good. But I would have liked to see Zoey and Cameron be finalists since I don't like Lightning that much.

6th - Season 5B, Pahkitew Island - Worst season. Of course it's at the bottom. I hate what they did to Dave, he was a good character in the first view episodes then they ruined him. And plus, Pahkitew Island ruined everything. We never found out about the Lindsay, Courtney, and Duncan love triangle or go to see what happened to the cast members that flew into space. And plus, the classic charaters that got ruined like Geoff, Bridgette, and Trent could've gotten fixed.

I don't understand how Total Dramarama is supposed to be related to the rest of Total Drama, if it's even supposed to be. The only thing that makes it similar to Total Drama is that it contains several characters from the series but as kids and also Chef who is the same age for some reason. They don't even show the original series anymore, just Total Dramarama.

Does Total Drama: The Ridonculous Race even count as part of the Total Drama series?

I watched some of PI and then quit because it was just unbearable. From what I've heard about it though, I think it's better than All Stars.

EDIT: Probably Jasmine and Shawn would be the favorites, but I don't really remember how they acted. 2/14 isn't great.

I found the characters in PI fine. I think it was the plots that ruined it for me.

I also found the characters to not be likable. Jasmine and Shawn were the only good ones. But the episode where Scarlett turned out to be evil was a good twist, as well as Ella's elimination so I'll admit the eliminations in PI were pretty creative.

I actually liked PI.

I watched some of PI and then quit because it was just unbearable. From what I've heard about it though, I think it's better than All Stars.

It's actually not that bad I guess. I liked it, it's worth watching. But I didn't like the characters, that's what ruined it for me.

ok so because i'm addicted to elimination orders and tdwt is my favourite season i decided to make one for it

i shuffled the teams a bit and made it so that blaineley is competing from the start of the season

these are the teams:

Amazon: Gwen, Courtney, Heather, Leshawna, Izzy, Noah
Chris is Really Really Really Really Ugly: Alejandro, Owen, Duncan, Tyler, Sierra, Cody
Victory: DJ, Bridgette, Blaineley, Ezekiel, Harold, Lindsay

this is the order:

18th - Ezekiel (same reasons as in the show)
17th - Harold (voted out for his stupid ideas for the commercial lol)
16th - Sierra (voted out for being crazy)
15th - Courtney (the love triangle would have already happened by this point and she would have been voted out)
14th - DJ (voted out for his animal curse)
13th - Cody (voted out for being annoying and not a team player)
12th - Noah (voted out for being a know-it-all and the only male on his team)
11th - Gwen (Heather told Izzy to vote for her so it was a tie between Gwen and Izzy and Gwen lost the tiebreaker)
10th - Izzy (voted out for being crazy)
9th - Bridgette (manipulated by Alejandro)
MERGE
8th - Duncan (voted out by Leshawna and some other people for being mean)
7th - Tyler (voted out, lost tiebreaker to Heather)
6th - Owen (manipulated by Alejandro)
5th - Lindsay (Heather, Blaineley, and Alejandro had an alliance)
4th - Blaineley (Heather agreed to vote with Leshawna for her since she was annoying and Heather and Leshawna had sort of had an alliance going this season)
3rd - Leshawna (lost challenge)
Alternate winner - Alejandro
Main winner - Heather

what do yall think? in my opinion this is a better elimination order and better concepts. i also DESPISED how quickly team victory was erased in the real show so i changed that as well lol

It's fine but I still like the original world tour eliminations the best.

Well, I think Sierra should have been in 4th place and eliminated for the same reason because she was a new character and we kinda just met her. Although the alliances you made were creative. And I think the episodes just wouldn't be the same with that order. Other than that it's good!

also i liked that chris is really really really really ugly thing ;)

sorry for reviving this again but here are my ideas for an all new total drama season:

this will be a season where all the cast members are from the first generation cast. the different generations of casts dont go well together and they just clash badly in my opinion.

the cast members will be essentially the characters from the first generation to never win a season, with some annoying out of place ones excluded. so no characters who won a season will be included.

this season will be on the island.

so that's 14 characters. i'd split them into three teams, that i have named based on like elements and stuff:

Team Fire:

Team Water:
Bridgette, Justin, Cody, Sierra



so i think this would be a 13 episode season since i DESPISE non elimination episodes and we have 13 eliminations to occur.

Notes: I eliminated her because although I would like her to go far, I want everyone in the season to go far, so she comes in last.

Episode 2:

Eliminated: Trent
Notes: I eliminated him before Eva because I feel that Eva could redeem her character this season and become a real team player, causing DJ and Lindsay to vote for Trent.

Episode 3:

2 votes towards Eva, 1 vote towards Lindsay
Eliminated: Eva
Notes: Despite what I said in episode 2's notes, I feel that DJ and Lindsay are probably more likely to vote off Eva than each other.

Episode 4:

Fire Team loses challenge
4 votes towards Noah, 1 vote towards Courtney
Eliminated: Noah
Notes: As I said for Izzy I want every character to go far but that isn't realistic, so Noah gets out here. Plus, RR was a really good season for him and I think that's enough.

Episode 5:

2 votes towards Cody, 1 vote towards Sierra, 1 vote towards Justin
Eliminated: Cody
Notes: As I said for Izzy, and Noah, I want every character to go far but that isn't realistic, so he gets out here. I think a good way for him to be eliminated was he stuffs something up in the challenge for his team, therefore, Justin and Bridgette vote him off.

Episode 6:
Earth Team wins challenge
Water Team loses challenge
2 votes towards Sierra, 1 vote towards Justin
Eliminated: Sierra
Notes: She went far in World Tour, and that's great, but it doesn't need to happen again. Also, without Cody, she has basically no purpose on the show (as All Stars horrifically showed us.)

Episode 7:
MERGE
Remaining characters are: DJ, Lindsay, Courtney, Harold, Tyler, Leshawna, Justin, Bridgette
Justin wins immunity
5 votes towards Tyler, 3 votes towards Harold
Eliminated: Tyler
Notes: He should have at least made merge in World Tour, so he's redeemed here. But he shouldn't go any farther than this.

Episode 8:

4 votes towards Harold, 3 votes towards Courtney
Eliminated: Harold
Notes: His character is kind of annoying to me now to be honest. He doesn't need to go any further than this.

Episode 9:
Courtney wins immunity
3 votes towards Justin, 3 votes towards Bridgette
Eliminated: Justin
Notes: He lost the tiebreaker with Bridgette. I wanted him to go far in the season since I feel he's an underrated character.

Episode 10:
Eliminated: Bridgette
Notes: She was eliminated by a challenge. This is because I can't think of any logical way that she would be voted off by these final five because realistically they would vote off Courtney, but I wanted Bridgette to place here.

Episode 11:
Leshawna wins immunity
3 votes towards Courtney, 1 vote towards Lindsay
Eliminated: Courtney
Notes: Don't hate me for not bringing Courtney to the finale. To me though, these other characters take priority in getting to the finale. Courtney didn't make the merge in Island, she placed high in Action but she debuted halfway through the season so it wasn't really fair, she was eliminated basically at the merge in World Tour and by then pretty much everyone hated her. All Stars was her best season but Sundae Muddy Sundae killed every bit of hope I had for Courtney tbh.

Episode 12:
Eliminated: DJ
Notes: Eliminated by challenge. He, along with Courtney, are the two people most worthy of getting to the finale, I would say, apart from these top two people that I have left.

Episode 13:
Main winner: Lindsay
Alternate winner: Leshawna
Notes: This was tough to choose who to get main and who to get alternate. You want to give everyone the main winner spotlight and not just make them an alternate winner because they technically aren't winning but you also can't take them to the finale again. In the end though, I chose Lindsay to be the main winner because a) I feel she is slightly more relevant to the show than Leshawna and b) She has been ripped off TOO MANY TIMES.

yay finally someone thought of adding Eva back! also the sunday muddy sundae episode wasn't actually that bad it was just courtney who i didn't like in that episode. the teams are organized well but i think that you should've replaced bridgette with someone else because we all lost hope for her after she got eliminated from season 1
