Good catch — I wonder if that means that such projects are against the Terms of Use. Regardless, I can at least say that projects which make things happen upon clicking the stop sign are not usually removed by the Scratch Team.

In the context of profile pictures, confirming an email is required just to help prevent any troublemakers from making an account just to upload inappropriate content. Confirming an email is one barrier that could stop some troublemakers from doing so. This is a similar reason why accounts cannot upload anything (comments, projects, etc.) until they confirm an email.

Note that the Scratch Team cannot do anything to discourage this since they sometimes quote the OP themselves.

I agree that we need a more specific suggestion here, with more concrete reasons. How should it be “discouraged”? What does that mean? Why is quoting the OP “annoying,” and why is that grounds for “discouraging” it?

(If everything that I found “annoying” could be “discouraged,” then we would be seeing a lot less projects on Scratch that use the pen blocks. But of course just because I find the pen blocks “annoying” doesn't mean that we should “discourage” it.)

when i receive [ v]

go to x: () y: ()
repeat ()
create a clone of [myself v] :: events

Okay, common problem here, easy solution, just put the entire block into something like this and have every clone set the id variable to 1 when they spawn
when I start as a clone
set [Id v] to [1]//this basically gives a way to differentiate between clones and the original sprite.
//You can also have the id set to a different number under specific conditions to make it so you can give specific clones unique processes

if <(id) = [0]> then //set id to for this sprite only and have the main sprite set it to 0 at the start

//insert your entire script in this (if) block, do this for both the custom block and the broadcast block, this will prevent the clones from creating other clones

This should work, if it doesn’t then please tell me! Im happy to help out.

P.S. i can tell by the code you are making a system that fills a specific area with a grid of squares, nice job with it, most of the time when i see code like that it is not very efficient but you did great!

“Invert colors”
Well, presumably, we can assume that this is the stage colors. We can also assume it has a modifiable target, that is, you select what is inverted.
But, fine, I’ll bite.
“I suggest a block that lets us invert a sprites colors.”
Anyone can understand this no problem, and it is a really realistic
Also, if we’re going based off what we can do while we’re really trying individually, then i suggest the minimum be raised to 2000 words. I mean, i can write a whole essay on any topic in waaayyy over 2000 words, so really, that should be the minimum!
Ignore the fact that that’s my ability, and the fact that I’m assuming from what i;m capable of. Also ignore the fact that not all suggestions need this level of an OP. Just look at the fact that i can write a few suggestions at this length. And lets assume my capability is the baseline of the average forumers, without looking at many factors.

Something worth noting is that, due to the third line of text and the big text, your post is longer than the OP's (pre-edited) post. If I should not quote the OP, does that mean I should not be quoting other Scratchers?

In a couple of forum posts, I've seen people quote the entire OP (original post) and it's very annoying. If you're making a post, (and don't quote someone) you're basically already quoting th OP, so there's no need to do that
With regards to your edit on “quoting a part of the OP,” is what I've done here acceptable? You see, I quoted your entire non-edited version except for the period at the end of your sentence. This is technically considered “part of the OP.” The part that I am referring to when I am quoting you is your entire (pre-edited) post.

Propose Projects to be Featured wrote:

These are the kind of things we're looking for:
- simple projects
- complex projects
- projects that show an innovative use of Scratch
- projects that promote collaboration and remixing
- projects by people who haven’t been on the front page a lot already
- projects that show the diversity in our community (gender, age, culture, country, interests, language, etc)
- projects that different kinds of people would find enjoyable
- projects that inspire
As you can see, they do look for complex projects. But, if you read the rest of the lisy, they want projects that a new scratcher could see and use and be inspired to create their own projects. And what do you consider “better” projects? Scratch is supposed to be open to beginner coders and more advanced coders alike, so a simple project can be just as good as a 3d game.

If every project was some super advanced code that only a few people understand, then it would probably intimidate people to think that they have to make projects like that, to get featured.
Overall, i think it's because there's a lot of animations that are Featured, so they don't see complex games much.

While some Scratchers are unhappy with the types of projects being featured, it is ultimately up to the Scratch Team to decide what to feature.

Review from The Gemstone Federation
First Impression 1-5: 5
Speed Rating 1-5: 5
Staff Rating 1-5: 5
Quality Rating 1-5: 5
Total Rating 1-20: 20
Suggestions: Front page was clear and concise, and everything I needed was easy to find. More shops should take note of this, and not clutter up the shop with a brick of a TOS and multiple pages. Maybe some odd use of small and big tags, but I'm not exactly here to nitpick. A temporary order shift did not slow down the shop, which is impressive, especially because some shops experience even the shortest amount of who-does-what crisis, but it may as well have been a normal month for you guys. When an artist went inactive when the shop needed them most, you referred before the order was late and made sure the customer knew of the issues. Sorry for the order dropout by one of our reviewers, but don't worry. The quality of all the art, especially mine, was exceptional. I'm not too familiar with art, but I do have Vis Arts, which cycles between Art, Drama, and Dance, and I know that good art takes a heck of a long time to make. Which is why, when my order was taken and done within half a day, my mind was blown. At the level of quality and detail I requested, I expected it to take at least 2 days. But the exceptional speed was insane. I don't know what to give any of this other than our first perfect score, a 20/20!

Regards, Cool.

PS: As a Canadian who knows some french, it's Ville D'art, not Ville De L'art.

Edit: Legit forgot to put the other two things lol.

1.5th thing: I want to make a First Perfect Score award, or at least include it in the monthly. Could I/you do it?

Rotation system is done. It accounts for me and you working at some shops, but doesn't account for past rotations, so just keep clicking the green flag till it lines up.

3rd thing: Can you put the review form in the staff resources section? I always lose it.

Probably the “easiest” explanation (depending on who you ask) is the following: below are graphs of sin(x) (red) and cos(x) (blue).

This doesn't actually explain what sine and cosine really are — see the two posts above mine for more detailed information — but at least it gives you a visualization of sine and cosine. For the purposes of using them on Scratch, this may be all that you need to know.
