Hello, new fellow Scratchers! This topic will be about a very, very special project as the 1 BILLIONTH project in Scratch.

This year, Scratch is expected to hit 1 billion projects, and the 1 billionth project could be YOU, fellow Scratcher! Why specifically here? That's because you have all the time to prepare for this moment! The star of all projects! Geometry Dash has done it, so why couldn't we?

What should we make for this moment? This project can contain celebrations, it can contain games, but most definitely NOT inappropriate stuff! Don't waste up on this time! Remember, we might take at least 5 years again for the 10 billionth project, and most certainly hundreds, if not thousands of years for 1 trillionth!

I have faith that a new Scratcher most likely would obtain this. So, don't let everyone down, as you can be the star, the star of the projects!

That's the second time you've asked me, but i'd like to make my own ORIGINAL song and not a remix

I mean, a collaborated and combined effort to make a new DB would theoretically be possible. Here are my pros and cons of making a new DB

Pros

1. It would reduce the amount of load on ScratchDB, hence improving speed for ScratchDB users.
   
2. It would be (most likely) open-source so that issues can be located and code can be updated to fix them
   
3. It could be faster, more efficient and be more reliable than ScratchDB
   
4. Experimental versions of it could show new features and the DB could be modified for certain use-cases too.
   

Cons

1. While reducing the load on ScratchDB, It would increase the load on the main Scratch API (could be worked around though?)
   
2. Unspotted vulnerabilities could mean that the DB is more prone to hacking (rather this isn't a con as anything could be hacked)
   
3. Increased clutter as everyone would just create their own if making another one was possible and documented.
   
4. Rather than create a new DB, make a improved version of the existing DB as it prevent flocking of users from one to other.
   
5. Speaking of flocking, users would flood to the new DB and would increase the load on that, meaning switching between DBs.

Simple way, use someone else's code: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/54370388/

Hard way, make it yourself: first, get the players stats, username, x & y coordinates, etc. Now, encode all of the items, to do this, convert every letter to a numerical value. If my username was abc123, then it would encode to 101112373839. You cannot use letters in cloud variables, so you have to use double digits so that they can decode later easily:

A = 10
B = 11
C = 12
…

After doing that, it's time to decode the message. At first, it would look something like this: 1039113737, then when you decode it would look like this a3b11. After decoding it, you should set the variables to their values that were in the decoded message.

A suggestion is an idea, but that idea will eventually vanish as time passes by. The original was taken down years ago but also what the hell is the point, the website works just fine, and an offline editor works fine on turbowarp if you visit the site frequently enough.

collabing in scratch is a little messy, sending files is okay until you send the wrong version… + you NEED TO CREATE 7 TO 10 GAMES OR VERSIONS. not saying you should add dangerous stuff like voice chat but a multiplayer project editor! with chat!

It sounds like you're reaching the clone limit. This can be caused by many things. For example, if you create clones without deleting them then eventually it will reach the limit. Please share the game so I can assist you.

There are suggestions as old as this, and older that are still open. I don't think this would be an exception and be closed. This could be a suggestion they're planning to add, but it could be a lower priority and take longer to implement.

機械計算に便利な2進数に置き換えて実行しているため生じる誤差です。
2進数で正確に表現できる数字（例：0.125）なら浮動小数点でも有効桁の範囲内で正確に計算できます。
