are the zombies in the hole with you? if so then you will die when you load in. if not then load in, block off the hole and start digging

They are but I have a shield and I crouched before i left(in bedrock, by crouching you turn the shield on). However I am not sure if ill still be crouching when I log in, and if I will be I can place down a bed
