Don't repost a message unless it adds something to a forum post. (e.g. A bump on a suggestion forum post, or restating important information that got lost in the conversation.) It feels disruptive and doesn't help the forum post thrive because people will think the post isn't important.

Edit 1: Correction - Don't SEND the same message unless it adds something to a forum post. Not don't repost, they're basically the same thing but repost is more ambiguous.
