A small dragon was trapped in a dark grey cage, black shadows seeping into the bars. The dragon looked up, sighing with sadness. The dragon had pastel blue scales, which looked grey among the shadows, furturing the sense of sadness and depression the little dragon felt. She was adorned with yellow gems proving her statis as princess, darkend by the black shadows, transforming them in to dull grey verisons of the gems. She sighed, remembering the freedom she once had, flying through the light blue sky, her gems glowing in the rays of the yellow sun, happiness just oozing off the small dragon. Suddenly, she heard a sound. A glowing red light peeked in from under the door. The dragon stepped back as a large human wiith ginger-red hair, wearing a cloak looking as though it was the color of blood stepped into the room, to watch the small dragon princess and feed it. The large human opened the door to the grey cell, and the dragon tried to make a run for it, however backed away when the human's eye glowed red, and menaneing red fire came flying out of the human's mouth. The human sat down a black bowl with grey clam chowder which was tasteless. It slammed the door, and stormed away. The small little dragon ate the food, sad. She missed her parents, her siblings, her kingdom. She didn't like being the prisoner, the pet of this human who clearly didn't care about her wellbeing and only cared about keeping her there. Eventually, she slipped into a restless sleep.
Eventually, she woke up, still saddened to find she was in the dark grey prison cell. Looking around, however, she noticed a small blue ribbon laid caught in the hastly shut door. The dragon grabbed it, tugging on it, freeing it from the door. It was longer then in inttually appeared, and so the dragon used it to create a rope to climb to the window, as the dragon's wings where bound with grey chains to prevent them from flying away. She climbed up it, struggling, but clutching to the blue ribbon like a dog would to a tug of war rope. Suddenly, the little dragon saw a red glow seeping into the cell. She scurred up the ribbon faster, clearing the window the moment the human opened the door. The little dragon grabbed the ribbon and leapped out the window. In the glow of the warm yellow sun, the grey chains snapped, letting the little dragon princess fly into the blue sky, embracing her freedom with pure happiness. She flew as swiftly as she could away from the black and grey prison cell, towards the deep blue see, towards her kingdom and her parents. Towards freedom and safety. Eventually, she landed at the palace, embracing her mother and father, the jewels representing her rank in the kingdom shining bright yellow. She was home and her small captivity made her realize how much her home, her family made her truely happy.
