Account deletion still retains your data, however accounts that were GDPR'd (Not sure if I can post a certain website that has a copy of like a 2015-2016 GDPR, so I'll only link wikipedia's GDPR article) do not - For example, the account's username gets obscured, PFP is (most of the time) deleted, projects gone, and your account's join date is set to when the GDPR was made.
