So hello my name is Plat (short for my username) there’s a lot of things in the Marvel Scratch Multiverse. Mainly those of comics and books, here’s some of the universes (those by individual creators) to read.

There’s the MSCU by @-MarvelComics- he did leave but his universe was the first and one of the best!
The PMU is another good one by @PMU_Official
AMU by @AwesomeUser23 is another “big” one.
There’s the MSUU by @AbeHe and I (the account where we share comics is @UltimateMarvel
And Mandofan Comics by @-MANDOFANCOMICS-

There’s some others I missed but here’s some that came to mind. (Oh and the MUWC by @HexagonWorld + the CMCU by @Codey9)

This basically happened every year for the past several years, and problems have been showing up. Evidently there is no good solution.

Why would moderators be hired for only one day? Why go through all the paperwork and effort for interviews, payroll setup, etc. for many people who will only be working one day?

Hi there! I found a bug in my View Simulator project, can anyone help me? As you can see, other walls don't work if you run the project, and that's bad if I want to make a multiplayer hide game (follow me for more info about it!

). I think it's caused by the block

Argument 1: The workaround isn't as simple as you think.
Any workaround involves variables. Variables are great. But in scratch, because of the block-building environment, too many variables can cause problems. It isn't fun scrolling through a large list of variables in a big and/or complex project just to get the right one. Message broadcasts are made to not have to do their workarounds, which will mean more variables. If message broadcasts are there to make the quality of life easier for scratchers who don't want to do these workarounds, then why not make them more useful?

I agree, it is a subjective statement whether to say “The workaround is simple”, or “The workaround is not simple”. Just understand that making a variable, scrolling to find the right variable, and placing multiple blocks isn't so good. A lot of blocks in Scratch are already workaroundable, and these blocks exist for quality-of-life improvements that save time.

This brings us to our next major argument,
Argument 2: Existing blocks have easier workarounds, or workarounds that take the same amount of time.
The forever block has the easiest workaround ever. And in fact, All message broadcasts have a similar workaround. Why just reject some block because of a workaround that isn't as simple to do?

Argument 3: The workaround can't do everything.
That's right, the workaround does not have the potential of these blocks. This means that there is something that the workaround can't do that these blocks can do.
What?
Let me explain, you can broadcast anything you want, but you can't create a variable. For example, the below block is completely possible:
broadcast (join [] [])
But you can't do this: (Excluding hacked blocks, I don't even know if this works anymore, but if it still does, this thing creates variables)
set (join [] []) to (join [] [])
Meaning if you want to have 1000 broadcasts (which can be useful), but don't want to create them by hand, you can just use this special broadcast block functionality to use. If you want the workaround, then you must create 1000 variables manually.

Sure, there may be a much more complex workaround involving lists or stuff like that, but then it gets too complex. There are existing blocks with complex or time consuming workarounds like
(length of [])
or even
repeat until <> 
end
, but such blocks have a very good reason to exist in Scratch. And so are these two blocks I am suggesting.

Some blocks are good such as

repeat until [broadcast v]

end

or

wait until [broadcast v]

However, some blocks like this one…

broadcast (join [][])

or

repeat until (join [][])

end

could contribute to project's bugs, since the without boolean, it will be impossible to “actually” run it if the single value is “true” (not a boolean like 2 = 2). Broadcasting a value can be confusing since we name the broadcast message names, what are they gonna do? Auto-create? Broadcast to nowhere? Or probably crash the project due to programming error?

I suggest when adding broadcasting values, you should include…

I've been on Scratch for a long while, bouncing around various accounts. I've also been in tfcrp since last year! This community is so lovely and amazing, and full of wonderful people. I adore writing and drawing, and I've begun to write poems !! (they aren't so good lol) I love Welcome To Night Vale, The Magnus Archives, Warrior Cats and Project SEKAI ! personality !

Lovebirdkit, also known as Lovely or Bibi, is obviously full of love. Bibi is always trying to please any cat she comes across, often sacrificing her time and energy for those she cares about. Her optimistic and loving demeanor will win her many friends, though some will point out that she sometimes goes overboard and forgets to take care of herself in her attempts to please. Her dedication and caring nature can be quite admirable, though others may see it as excessive. Lovebirdkit's kindness, empathy and optimism have made her a well liked member of her clan, with many other cats admiring her warm and caring personality. However, some may also see her tendency to go overboard in showing her love and affection as excessive, especially when it comes to sacrificing her own needs for the sake of others.
Lovely will learn at a young age that she is seen as a beautiful she-cat, leading her to be a bit full of herself at times. Although she doesn't show it much, she adores positive attention and affection.

plot and lore !

Lovely will somewhat be a rebel in her apprenticeship/early warriorhood, before learning what it really means to be a part of the Clan. This lesson will come to her in a few different ways, from being told off by her mentor to getting screamed at by a WindClan warrior.

I also have a really fun idea for Bibi's apprenticeship – I'd like her to be bitten by a snake and obtain an intense fear of snakes. She would avoid leaving camp for almost a full moon, and barely leave her nest. She would have a permanent scar from the bite, leaving her to be deeply enraged anytime she saw her reflection. She would feel imperfect and worthless for a while, before she learns about how perfection isn't real (yada yada yada i promise i wont hurt her too much).

relationships with the family !

Lovely would be very attached to Aspenfaith, often following him around the nursery and begging to go on patrols with him, leading to her throwing a fit when she couldn't go. However, as grows into her rebel phase, she'd probably step back a bit and realize she needs to become her own cat, but she would never forget her admiration towards Aspenfaith.

As for her sibling, she would be quite close with them, often plotting to sneak out of camp or playing games with them. Since there isn't much information on the kit, this section is mostly blank, I’m sorry.

@heknowsscratch, I don't think you understand the character. Gordon is neither Donald or Gambit. He's a character I made up specifically for this movie. He just looks like Donald from Invincible except he's a bit thinner and his glasses are black instead of silver. Do you understand know? You drew Gambit and gave him Donald's glasses which I am going to use as a cameo but not in the main cast. If you need any help with figuring out other characters just let me know and I'll help you.

i'm working on a personal project for turbowarp. a kind of kinito pet, bonzi buddy, and clippy type of program. it will be simple, just a simple sprite walking along the screen which you can talk to when you click it but i wanna know how i would make an extension that makes the background fully transparent.

I see no reason not to add this, it's a minimal change with massive uses that can't really confuse new Scratchers, as they would have to enable it and the x position could stay shown rounded in the sprite editor area where you can manually set position, direction, etc.

This allows for more advanced use of the screen, as many have said I often see the changing one pixel at a time, which isn't very smooth but with this it can be smooth.

Furthermore, Scratch already allows decimal x and y values, the displayed position is just rounded but if you use this script:

repeat (4)
change x by (0.3)

the sprite will move 1 pixel to the right.

In addition, like the OP stated this allots for more precise pen movement, and pen is a substantial corner piece of many projects, which this would improve.

Lastly, this won't cause problems in projects, because if it was like how post #4 stated, it would be an style or option on integer only values, which would not affect any past projects as other updates have.

doll is dead, n sliced tessa’s head, only for something i cannot explain to crawl out, heart is actually nori and got into a fight with her daughter and her daughter’s boyfriend while saying you are grounded, khan and 2 workers i forgot the name decides to fight J, uzi fell into a hole that was created by nori’s null command (yeva (doll’s mom) cut off nori’s hand so the null won’t affect her as much), then there was a picture where khan saved nori from a hole and she said “brain got (something i forgot) enough to have a child”, we got an uzi acrylic stand, n got pushed back by uzi’s solver and tessa is evil y’all

Yllona squeezed her eyes shut, trying, in vain, to block out the images circulating around and around in her head. It didn't work. Pictures of her long gone parents, smiling and grinning somewhat eerily, floated about her mind.

Yllona pressed her hands to her ears, as though it would help her out of the hallucinations. She didn't expect it to. From that morning, when she woke up, she was having visions of her dead parents. It was as if… she shivered at the thought. As if she developed a superpower through the night. A superpower that would… What, force you to see images of your happy parents? That might not have sounded that bad for most people, but for Yllona, it was no less than torture.

She had lost her parents at the early age of 9. She was 14 years old now, so that might have not been that early, compared to her age. She had been old enough to remember her parents clearly. What good days they were! Living with two loving parents caring for her day and night! They had even gone out hiking together, fishing by the lake…

But one tragic car accident had killed them, Death had taken them. Leaving Yllona to travel from foster family to foster family.

Well if you want a report on bugs:
- Pretty sure you already notice this but the frog seems to count the walls as ground that it can jump on
- You can hold the jump button on the wall to yeet to space XD

Ideas:
Wizard frog so I guess the level theme could be a pond/water
- Could try to add water where you can swim
- Maybe since he's a wizard he can spawn water balls midair (He can swim in water bubbles so it can be used like a floating platform that you can jump from)

The strangest things can happen when you're just walking on a sidewalk. One moment, you could be taking a nice stroll at the park and the next, get knocked out by a brick.

The first thing Churro noticed wasn't the sinking feeling in her stomach. It was that the giant churro had a Jamaican accent.

There is no way to leave a classroom, but over time as you go through the grades and that teacher uses Scratch, you'll be transferred over to the new class, shown next to your username. But it'll never go away
